Fitbit Update 8/23/18:
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your participation in this thread.
Since the majority of Versa users have successfully updated to OS 2.1.1 (v32.32.10.15) I have decided to close this topic from further comments.
If you still have not updated your Versa to OS 2.1.1, check out this help article for how to update your device. Please complete this update so that you're prepared for the next release.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Versa unrelated to the firmware-up process, I invite you to start a new topic on the Community or find a related topic.
Thanks for all your feedback and contributions on this thread. We're looking forward to bringing you all the next Fitbit OS update!
Fitbit Update 05/11/2018: We have released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Versa users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Versa users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
WHAT’S FIXED
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
I recommend updating your Versa over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Versa to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

My Versa updated two days ago, and while it does look different (notifications now have a "Clear" button rather than the old "Dismiss"), I have no reply option. I have quick replies set up in the app, but nothing about replies shows up on the watch. When browsing through all 21 pages of this thread, I saw a couple of other people were having the same issue - anyone have any ideas?

Try Textra and in Textra's notification settings, define notifications and make the android buttons (mark as read and android in-line reply). If you're on an older version of Android, you'll run into issues for replying until they fix it. You can try to see if this gives you some flexibility to reply: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/google-android/how-reply-notifications-in-...

The clock watchface is nothing special. Firmware is 10.15, and the battery
was almost full, cause I was charging it during download

I just got my replacement Versa. Set up was smooth and easy. Got everything working. I’m on firmware .15 so even with a new Versa I still didn’t get the .20 version so I guess I gotta wait till it’s my turn for that update. Still gotta test the steps accuracy, sleep track, and all those issues people have to see if I got them.

After the latest firmware I have found the NFC reliability has dropped from "every time" to only 1 in 5. And this is at locations where the Versa has always worked. Were any NFC changes made in the bug fixes of this release?

Got the update! Love it!! Just wondering is there going to be more room to add more quick replies?

Hi All,
Just a small query. The call reject and reply feature for Android is
available for both the Normal edition and Special edition of Versa right?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, that is correct. Fitbit Pay for the United States is only available in the Special Edition - this is the only difference. In the rest of the world, there are no differences; they all have fitbit pay.

Fitbit versa was on the charger all night, took it off this morning and noticed I already had 3,773 steps... I did the update 2 days ago and now my steps count without being on my wrist. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks! I figured out why it wasn't updating. It was my own fault! I had my Versa paired with both my phone and tablet. For ease, I ended up doing the update on the computer app. Once I shut off my Bluetooth on my phone and tablet, the firmware update finally went through. It took overnight, but it worked.
I'm having another problem now. I have an Android so we're supposed to be able to "reply" etc to any notifications we get. My notifications are still showing "Content Hidden" and the only option is "Clear". I've checked the app notifications on my Fitbit dashboard as well as directly on my phone. It looks like the apps are set up correctly so I don't know why I'm unable to utilize the new features from the firmware update.

I receive the notifications, I just can't reply or do any of the new things that were supposed to have been added to the firmware update. Basically, everything looks exactly the same with no new options from the update.

I keep receiving notifications of old emails after updating to this firmware. Please help.

My notifications from the Signal app -- which I use for texts -- stopped working after the update.
I *am* getting notifications from other apps.
Also: Still no Sleep Stages, which I've given up on at this point.

Upon searching I found if you go into your notification settings on the app you'll be able to fix it.
There was a red box saying I wasn't receiving notifications. So I clicked it and it took me to tick some more boxes which was to turn on notifications for calls and texts as well as quick replies.
Also if your phone is on silent it won't work, but there is now an option to turn it on regardless if your phone is on silent or not.
Hope that helps! 😊
