Fitbit Update 8/23/18:
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your participation in this thread.
Since the majority of Versa users have successfully updated to OS 2.1.1 (v32.32.10.15) I have decided to close this topic from further comments.
If you still have not updated your Versa to OS 2.1.1, check out this help article for how to update your device. Please complete this update so that you're prepared for the next release.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Versa unrelated to the firmware-up process, I invite you to start a new topic on the Community or find a related topic.
Thanks for all your feedback and contributions on this thread. We're looking forward to bringing you all the next Fitbit OS update!
Fitbit Update 05/11/2018: We have released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Versa users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Versa users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
WHAT’S FIXED
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
I recommend updating your Versa over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Versa to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Funny thing is, in my case, 32.32.10.15 fixed notifications for me where they were very random before. Hoping the next release works for everyone.

@AlessFitbit just to confirm, I have release 32.10.15 on my Versa and customized setting are still NOT retained. This is my #1 issue with this device. Would appreciate an update on the prospect for a release with a fix.

I had exactly the same problem. It eventually went but my Versa has refused to sync since it got the latest update. So fed up 😦

Mine updated and now I DO NOT get my text messages on Versa. No problems with this before. Did not change anything. Did a live chat and nobody was able to figure out why this has stopped working after going thru all the troubleshooting about five times . Please provide a fix and answers. I am very frustrated with this situation. I am not able to have the volumn up on my phone at work. Texting is the easiest & fastest way to communicate with my younger girls when I am at work and they are out of school for the summer at home. Please help!!

My Versa has been incorrectly counting my steps yesterday and today? I can only link it to the update.
Earlier today I was shocked to see I had only done 1,080 steps when I thought I had done way more then that! I think this way wrong though.
Then an hour later it should me at 1,250
but now it’s back to 1,480?!
How can I fix this?

This 32.32.10.15 is the firmware version I have, but I am still not able to get my texts through my Versa. I have changed so many settings in my Verizon android phone that even on do not disturb I am getting alerts out loud on my phone when I get a text, which is frustrating, because I don't want them out loud at work, just quietly on my Versa. I have tried everything Fitbit recommends and nothing is working.
Also, why do I have to get the continued Fitbit Sync Service notification. I can open the app to see when it was last synced. If I turn this off though I don't get any other alerts. Currently facebook messenger and calls come through just fine, but the only one I really want...which are text messages, doesn't work. I love Fitbit and keep upgrading, but am not wondering if this last upgrade was a mistake.

Yes I agree. I am now thinking it was a mistake in purchasing the Versa to replace my Charge 2.
The connected GPS implementation on the Versa is just rubbish.
I emailed Fitbit and they responded back basically blaming my phone and to restart phone, bluetooth blah blah blah.
Ummmm no thanks, the same phone works just fine with the Fitbit Charge 2 on the same jog route in the same weather conditions without dropping bluetooth connection every 2 minutes. Due to the number of dropped connections, the end distance of whatever workout is significantly less than the actual distance covered.
I loved Fitbit but I'm certainly not wanting to beta test their product after spending $299 AUD of my hard earned cash. This thing has been released way too early without adequate testing.

I have not had any problems with my versa since now. I have tried to install the update OS 2.1 on my android phone, but it stays stuck on 'searching for your fitbit versa' screen.
My bluetooth is on, wifi is on en good. My versa is fully charged, connected on the charger en next to my phone. My phone is also connected to the charger and fully charged.
Can anybody help me?

My phone is a nexus 6p, syncing goes well, messages in the beginning, now not so well. I would like to get the update. See how it goes then. But it just will not update. I have tried everything. Uninstall the fitbit app, restart my phone, … I really like the versa.
I hope they can help me, or somebody else. 🙂

I left my Versa on Charger over night; first time waking up to 28k phantom steps. Hours later, yesterday went to 38k which was actually 6k. What is going on?

@AlessFitbit It's been almost 2 weeks since the release to everyone of version 15/ to some people of 20. When is everyone going to get access to 20?

I agree. I'm tempted to switch over to the Garmin Vivoactive 3 that actually has integrated GPS. I'm also having a ton of issues with the GPS, it's awful. Since I've gotten this Fitbit it's been nothing but issues. I miss my Charge 2.

Will this fix the sleep tracking issues, and the issue of random hr spikes? Mine keeps randomly showing my hr as 50+ beats per minute higher than it actually is when I'm resting. And yes, I have it on correctly and have done any and all troubleshooting I can for it.
I sure this fixes it, because if not I need to return and get something else. I love all the others features, though.
