@krypro I think at this point I would definitely reach out to Customer Support. It might be a faulty device.

I'm trying to reset my Versa to factory settings but it keeps giving me the message that it can't clear all the data and to sync again, but now it wont/can't sync. It's just frozen. Any tips?

Mine is the same issue as yours where I have tried to reset the factory settings with the three buttons and mine doesn’t reset at all... can anyone help I’m out of ideas??

How do you hold all three buttons while it's on charge if you can't reach the buttons while it's on charge?

unfortuantly I cant unlock it that way because my fitbit versa is stuck on a lock screen and keeps saying to have my phone unlock it so I'm not sure what to do

After my factory reset, my versa does nothing but show the fitbit logo and say to download the Fitbit app. How do I do that when the Fitbit isnt responding?. Please dont say place the watch in the cradle and press the 3 buttons. This step can not be done while in the cradle and why must the watch be in the cradle in the first place?

I had to call Fitbit for help with mine. It took a very long time to get it reset and it has happened again. I'm done with the Versa. I'm calling it the best ad for Garmin I've ever seen.

Just joined the forum to say: If you're trying to reset your Versa because it's stuck on the lock screen (which seems a common fault you'd think they'd fix, or at least add a warning screen that you've put the wrong number in), DO NOT UNPAIR IT FROM YOUR PHONE. Part of the re-pairing process is typing a 4 digit number from the watch screen into your phone, but you won't be able to see it because the screen is locked. My watch is useless now, and won't factory reset either. Tech support were no help, and they won't cover purchases made through eBay even if they're new. I wouldn't have bricked my watch if their help guides were in any way useful in the first place. I'm really sick of companies skimping on technical help and just getting customers to talk to each other on forums instead.

You know, I tried everything that they were saying in the post but it
didn't work for me either. Finally I called customer service and to my
dismay, she actually walked me through it.
To perform the factory reset, scroll over to your Settings button, scroll
all the way down to About.and click on it. Select Factory Reset and it will
ask you want to delete all info. Say Yes because you will be able to reload
everything from you phone or computer. And thats its.
Now my problem was, once I reset it, I couldn't get it to come back on
again. If you want to Restart it after the Reset, let me know and I will
send you the info.

I did call the company and they were helpful. After an hour, my versa was working again. That lasted about 3 days and it started not working again. I've given up on versa. I will need to find a way to delete my post.

Go to settings, scroll to the bottom and click on About. Scroll down and
select Factory Reset.
Once you do the factory reset, you will have to start from scratch by
downloading a new Fitbit App and once you sync your phone/computer and
fitbit, all of your info will be restored except for some apps that you
downloaded.
