Could you please consider making the Versa compatible with the Google Pixel 2 XL? I am so bummed that I hear it's not compatible....

To add to this topic, I have a Google pixel 2 XL and versa. The only thing that wasn't working for me was connected GPS. I have discovered, with no help from Fitbit whatsoever, that later version of Android automatically throttle apps that access data in the background. This means that even if you follow the steps provided by support to allow data in the background, it can still be throttled and therefore will disconnect GPS when the phone sleeps. To stop this you have to go Settings - Battery - Adaptive Battery - Restricted Apps and take the restriction off of the Fitbit app.
Best AnswerI have just purchased a Google Pixel 2XL and can't get it to sync with my versa.
I have reset the versa to factory settings and set it up again. The phone and the watch seem to work fine for this but not it won't sync and I'm not receiving notifications.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I got the versa yesterday (9/26/18)and it connected to my Pixel XL just fine... I followed the set up instructions and connected it to my Wi-Fi and it was complete.
Best AnswerThanks for your replies .
I have tried twice and goes through the whole process and seems ok but then doesn't work.
I'll try again. Fingers crossed .

Best AnswerThe versa is the only Fitbit device I own.
When I go onto the Bluetooth section on my phone the versa is there but won't sync.
Best AnswerSo I turned my phone off then back on and it is working fine now. Getting all notifications and its syncing fine.
So happy.
Thanks all.
Best AnswerI have a Fitbit Charge 3 that simply won't hold a bluetooth connection. Despite repeated resets, reboots, deletion and reloading of the app, restarting the phone, unpairing and then re-pairing (which is problematic itself) - nothing, nix, nada!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also have a iPad Mini 4 and it connects perfectly.
Previously used a Charge 2 and it was flawless - so bloody frustrating - Apple and its Watch are looking a real option.
What is the problem Google/FitBit?
