Hello ,

I'll be soon upgrading from Charge 2 to Versa. Will it result in loss of all the previous data that was accumulated while using Charge 2 ?

No. Once you sync the data is stored in the Fitbit servers. The devices store detailed data for about 7 days and summary data for about a month. Just make sure you sync before you make the actual switch.

No, all your data is held on the fitbit servers rather than on the fitbit itself, so when you change tracker your data is safe.

Thank you for your response.

Another query please, my old Fitbit Charge 2 will be utilised by someone
else.

How do I stop syncing the other user's data to my Fitbit app?

After you have added the new device to your account, you should:

1. sync to get all the information from your old device to the new one.

2. remove the old device from your account.

According to this site:

 https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2216/?q=factory+reset+charge+2&l=en_US&fs=Search...

The data on the Charge 2 should be deleted and the removal of the device from your account should prevent any new data from transferring to you.
