Hi everybody, Thanks for letting us know about this situation. Our team has been monitoring the situation. They informed that the clock face is working as expected, but it might happened that during the sleep the watch moved, so that there were not enough data received to make  an assessment.

Please try wearing the watch a bit higher in the wrist and a bit tighter during the sleep .

Le me know how it goes.

I sleep with it every night and I am getting no SPO2 readings. I restarted my Versa2 and still nothing.

Best Answer

Mine showed a reading the first night I had the clock face installed and again on the second. It hasn’t worked since then, three or four more days.

Best Answer

Slept with it two nights now since installing. Nothing

I have the same problem with my Ionic. It worked 3 times in the last 10 days. I have removed and reinstalled the clock face and I still can’t get a reading. The oxygen variation works but no Sp02. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions. I have worn it loose, snug tried both wrists but I can’t get a reading.
what else can I try?

I have the same issue.  I've downloaded the clock face and slept with it for a few nights but no data. In addition when I open Health Metrics in the Fitbit App it still shows the green "Download Clock Face" button instead of a graph even though the clock face is definitely working for everything but SpO2. I've verified that I have the latest firmware update and app. I'll probably try restarting my fitbit next.

Mine says the exact same thing. Did yours start working?

Hi, I have the same thing on my Sense, I think it's an app issue.

I installed it yesterday. I will wait and see a couple more days and read the instruction manual

The download clock face shows all the time in the health metrics dashboard instead of a spo2 graph. Can't take readings after recording spo2 all night. Strange and frustrating. Please post right troubleshooting. I'm a premium member with a versa 2.

No, but today it says "Couldn't read SpO2" instead of waiting for me to
sleep. The Fitbit app still has the "Download clock face" button even
though I have it installed.

I owned the charge 3 for 8 months before the screen went. Then bought a cartier tank and swore I'd never buy a fitbit again. I am so disappointed in myself that fell in to the advertising trap and bought the sense. Its half baked and a lot of what was promised to work in advertising does not work. Seems like false advertising to me. This is by far one of the worse fitness products I've owned. Complete waste of money. Yes I get the sp02 error. And no, don't feed us the rubbish that it works and we are apparently doing something wrong. This product is full of bugs. Yes I have the new update and premium.

So I have just about given up with the Sp02 reading. Have now gone a week without a reading despite following all the advice etc. I so wish this had worked but would really like a proper oxygen reading. Please Fitbit sort a decent oxygen reading out.

My Versa 2 SPo2 feature has worked intermittently since it was installed was launched (although readings have been on the low side (92% to 94% average). Recently it stopped working for >7 days. However, W thout me changing any settings it has miraculously worked for the last two night’s sleep. I have noted is that SPo2 information has always been recorded in the sleep section of the app on my iPhone, even when the Versa clock does not show a SPo2 reading for the slept period..

It’s not a medical instrument, but I suspect the excitement associated with anticipating an SPo2 reading in the morning may be impacting on my sleep, the SPo2 value and general health ....

Mine started working overnight and I have my first SpO2 reading and the
graph appeared today. No idea what changed.

I had clock face for 4 days now. Never showed the spo2. I have tried uninstalling app and restarting the watch. I have completely removed clock face and reinstalled. Restarted everything many time through the day. Slept with the spo2 clock face on. Wore it tighter than I do usually for 2 days. Nothing works! I just don't know at this point, seems so stupid.

What do you mean by the watch moved? While sleeping some bit of movements are bound to happen. How can someone ensure no movements? Can a resolution that works for all be given? I have wore the device tighter than I usually do and that hasn't worked either. So this answer seems phoney or not a real solution.

When I wake up I always synch the Versa 2 first with the app dashboard, then hold down the watch button until the watch display switches off. Then the watch starts up showing the Fitbit logo and (for the third night running) the Versa’s SPo2 screen shows the SPo2 readings.  On the app, in the sleep section and within the latest nights reading you should see a graph of the SPo2 variation about the average for the sleep period. My watch strap is not tied tightly.

I also do that, but I don't restart versa 2. It keeps showing reading spo2 values for upto an hour after waking up. Do you wait for this message to go before pushing the button or right as you get out of bed? In any case I'll try the latter tonight.

When I awake I don’t get an up-dated reading unless I go through the process of depressing the watch button until the screen goes blank and then leaving it to wake up itself (process indicated by the Fitbit logo appearing) and then when the watch face returns I find the SPo2 screen has the new reading values displayed.  This process has now worked for my fourth consecutive night after a few weeks of inconsistent operation.

(It’s a Smart watch so take care not to let it know you’re getting annoyed with it .... ‘ 🤓:watch:️‘?)
