Ever since the update I have not been able to receive texts on my watch. I havent had this problem before and iv had this watch for almost a year. Iv tried all troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked. I know that fitbit is aware there are issues since the update so is there going to be a resolution soon. I know its not my phone I have a samsung Galaxy s8 plus & like I said this has never happened until this current update. So im really just looking for a timeline of when it will be fixed. Its literally just text messages, snapchat messages, and facebook messenger that i used to get notifications for before. Thank you

We are aware of an issue preventing some users from receiving notifications on their iPhone after updating to iOS 13. If you're having trouble receiving notifications and you updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 13, follow the steps in this article, which are also documented below:

I’ve tried this and I still don’t get text notifications. I get all other notifications but texts. I have even uninstalled the app and did a factory reset on the watch as well. Is there another way to get the text notifications on my watch?

I did the new IOS update for apple (iOS 13) and since I updated my text notifications aren’t working. I’ve done every trouble shooting possible and I have even don’t a factory reset: still doesn’t work. I was told by Fitbit support I have to turn my “show previews” on u see notifications > messages. This isn’t true as friends and coworkers hAve there’s off. I have YET to get the new update for the Fitbit app. This is very frustrating

Having the same problem. I’ve called, chatted, tweeted. Still no offer of a solution or acknowledgement that they are working on a solution. So frustrating. Never had an issue in the last three years.

I shouldn’t have to be forced to have my show previews on for my messages in order to get texts on my Fitbit. I’ve NEVER had them on. I’m a teacher and I get texts from parents and if I leave my phone on the desk it’s nice that no one can read the message but I have it on my watch. I might have to get rid of my Fitbit

Mine is actually working now, but I did in fact have to make the "Show Previews" setting "Always". I never had to do that before, so I'm not sure why it's different now. (FYI, The troubleshooting guide they just released says you can also set it to "when unlocked" which might help for the teacher who is having an issue but doesn't want her texts showing for all to see. I did not try that setting though as I never leave my phone anywhere that other people can see it)

@ACMLB You're on samsung, so make sure that the Message Preview is enabled in your phone Settings. If this does not help, please uninstall and reinstall Fitbit app with the reboot of your phone in-between. This should prompt you to allow Fitbit to access notifications on your phone again.
@Marrrr Apple has introduced changes in Bluetooth with the recent iOS 13 update. This will have to be addressed with the Fitbit mobile app update. For now you can try if this works for you:
@Kgrave @Brookejenks Phone model and OS?

@NotTechie have you tried the tips for iOS 13 from my post above? Unfortunately, this does not work for everyone and the update of the app is needed to address the connectivity issue.

I have also tried all of the trouble shooting from reinstalling the app to factory reset on the watch. Still no text notifications. I seem to get everything else from Facebook notifications to calls just no texts.
