Versa 2 not receiving text messages

I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I am going to extend and amend my previous post. Yes, the fixes that several have mentioned to receive text messages.....worked. However, this is intermittent in nature. This week 3/7 days I did not receive text messages. Phone call to fit bit..... they continue to ask for my patience as they look for a resolution. Meanwhile my option of returning has expired...... seriously should have gone with the apple watch.

I have tried turning everything on/off. Changed every setting and notification I can and still nothing. I’m starting to get extremely frustrated!

I am sending mine back tomorrow. Bought thru QVC. I bought the Galaxy Active 2 and the setup was a breeze. I have a Samsung phone, so no issues. I wanted the gadgets to work and the Versa 2  was too spotty for me. I wish everyone luck. I will moss this community page though.

I'm having this exact same issue and it's so frustrating........the reason I chose this watch was so that I would never miss a call or text from my children or an emergency call or text while i am working.

I’ve done everything suggested on this post since early October. I haven’t received a text since then. Incredibly frustrating bc now I’m stuck with this product. I’ve been a fitbit user for YEARS but this makes me want to give up the brand and go elsewhere. This problem needs to be addressed and fixed. Don’t tell customers that a feature is the ability to see texts when that is clearly untrue.

Notifications and text messages stopped working after last update. I have a Galaxy S10+

Same issue! I get calls and calendar notifications but no texts. I’ve tried everything. I even deleted the app and started all over again! So annoying because it used to work just fine!

I was getting phone call notifications, but not text messages too.  You have to go to settings on the iphone, then notifications, messages and scrolling down to the options where "show previews" were turned off.  I was only checking notifications, then Fitbit and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.  Under Notifications on the Iphone, there are two place to check - both under Fitbit and Messages.  Works now!

Ok. Tried this and it worked however now my text messages show up on my screen when my phone is locked. I don’t like that and previously I didn’t have to set that option! Fitbit can y’all please fix this annoying bug! 🤦🏽‍:female_sign:

 I ended up upgrading my phone to the iphone 11 and now I get the text messages.

Why is my Versa 2 getting all notifications except text messages with my iPhone. Called help line and they told me to try everything I already did. Then finally told me they are having an unsettled issue with iPhone iOS 13. Will this ever be fixed? Or should I take my new device back to the retailer?

That’s my whole thing... I don’t like my messages showing up on my phone screen. That’s personal.

I had the same issue but I don't get prompted to pair via bluetooth.
