I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I called customer service did everything they told me which I had done many times. Told them I was very disappointed having 4 Fitbit’s. So my day went on and low and behold I’m getting text messages now. Hallelujah. Hopefully it lasts.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7. It's not on their list but Samsung said all their software is the same except maybe the latest ones. It started picking up texts a few weeks after I got it. It continued perfectly. Then they came out with their update and they stopped again. I've been using Verizon Messages+ forever and worked with the other 2 Fitbits I have. Versa HR and did perfect with the Charge 3. Now I'm back to waiting. I have rechecked all the settings and they are fine.

I called talked to customer service. They said they were working on this problem. And about 2 hours admirer talking to them I get texts. Hopefully it will last. 🤞

THANK YOU so much!!! I have probably spent 5 hours total on this since I got my new Fitbit Versa Lite for Christmas! I never received any notifications like I did on my Blaze, and it drove me so crazy I bought a new phone today, thinking it was my iPhone7! This made my day/year!!!

Texts have worked with iphone default messages app for me....but still get notifications of all the comments on this topic and not sure it’s a coincidence that google messages is the one people have consistently found to work. Google purchased fitbit. So wonder if it’s what is going to be for people?

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 and it's not on the list but it works. I did the Fitbit update and it quit receiving texts. What I ended doing was I reset the watch to new and redownloaded the Fitbit software into the watch. It didn't take more than 15 minutes. It came up on the phone about turning on Notifications. Hit yes and it completed the Fitbit download. Then you go into your phone and make sure Fitbit is on the Notifications and which messager you are using because it defaults to the original messages. I wanted to receive SMS messages so I've always used the Verizon one. So far it's working but I do get a message in the Fitbit App to restart the phone that the notifications is off. When I can see it is all turned on and can do a test phone call. Hope this helps.

My Versa 2 syncs to update stats but not vibrate for iPhone calls or receive text messages any more

I have an Android phone. I get a message on the fitbit app that Notifications aren't working and phone needs restarted but they are coming through anyway. Fitbit says they are working on these bugs. Be patient. I contacted them by email at https://contact.fitbit.com. I seem to get answers within a day on what to do.

Gave up on my Versa 2, so long Fitbit. Too many numerous problems for years with 2 Versa and a Versa 2. I went with another brand. So happy now everything's working perfectly
