Hi there @zebra08

Thanks for the detailed information shared. If you haven't done so, I suggest trying the following:

1. On your phone, tap Settings → Bluetooth → the information icon → next to the name of your Fitbit device  → Forget This Device.
2. Turn off Bluetooth
3. Restart Versa 2. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
4. Turn on Bluetooth
5. Open the Fitbit app and force sync your device. Press and hold on the screen and pull down.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your suggestions, unfortunately it didn't work. I also uninstalled my Fitbit and reinstalled it but that also didn't work. I receive notifications when I get my steps. My Fitbit app on my phone keeps track of my steps but it doesn't keep track of my steps on my watch. I believe this stopped working when I updated the software a few days ago.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Tobefit2022

Thanks for joining us to the thread and for trying the suggested instructions. I'd like to confirm if you are getting an error message when you try to sync. Since you have mentioned that it doesn't keep your steps on you watch, do you mean that your Versa 2 is not registering all your steps, or they are not being transferred to the Fitbit app? In the meantime I suggest refreshing the connection between your phone and your device, please do the following:

  • Make sure the Fitbit app is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
  • Open the Fitbit app, tap the today tab and then tap your profile picture.
  • Tap Set Up a Device.
  • Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

See you around.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have tried all of your suggestions and nothing. My steps do not register on my versa 2 but I can see them on the app. When I synced them the app says it successfully sync's.

Hi CindyMFitbit,

I am having problems with my Vera2 as well not pairing with my phone.  I've done everything I know to do based on what I've read concerning the problem.  The Fitbit app will not local or acknowledge the wifi in range (sitting right at it) as well.  I've turned the devices off, deleted apps, turned of Bluetooth, reloaded apps, turned off watch. My bluetooth (iPhone 12 Pro) cannot find the Vera2 watch at all.  I done everything I know to do and still the devices will not find each other.  I was not having this problem 10/10/2021, just started last week.

Hi Cindy,

Finally got it up and running. I had to completely delete the device from everything and start a new setup of the device on my phone. Then it worked, thank you for your help. 😊

Thank you so much for all your suggestions. My versa 2 and iPhone were only syncing some and not all information. This started about a week ago. I ended up having to delete the versa 2 and set it up as new device and fortunately it still had all my previous data.
Thank you!!

I have tried the steps outlined in this topic and the replies.  When adding a new device, I view the code on the Versa 2, I enter the code in the app, but the sync fails.  What next?

Hello. I have tried all of your suggestions including redownloading the app and also turning off the bluetooth method, however I cannot seem to get the versa two to sync to my phone. The time on the watch is wrong and I am trying to sync the watch to my phone in order to fix it. What do i do?

I’ve tried resetting the watch. I’ve deleted the device. I’ve deleted the App. Nothing is working. It’s not allowing me to log on to Wifi. It will not sync the watch with the iPhone App. It will not allow me to update the firmware. I’ve tried everything suggested in this thread.
