My Versa 2 watch has been having intermittent problems that got worse over time, and as of right now it's unusable.
The issues started out with a lot of crashes and restarts, failed updates, and intermittent syncing errors. They've never been constant, but it does seem to crash a few times a day at the most. Sometimes when it would come back up, the home screen would say something along the lines of "clock error, go to the app to pick another clock face."
The more noticeable issue is that starting a few days ago, the screen would sometimes not respond to touch inputs, and restarting the watch would fix it. It's been getting worse, and today, the touch screen does not respond at all, even after restarting the watch. The screen does turn on and off using the side button, but I can't interact with the screen. The watch also syncs normally.
I successfully updated the firmware yesterday, but it has no noticeable effect.
Is there anything else I can try?

Best AnswerMine is also the same. Very disappointing there seems to be so many people experiencing the same issues for such a long time, that these bugs haven't been fixed.
Best AnswerMy versa started with this issue, it also stopped allowing me to log my water intake. More recently my screen no longer works, the clock face does not come up at all. I have tried resetting it, letting it die and recharging it but nothing seems to work! For the cost of the Fitbit I expected this type of error not to occur.
Best AnswerHi. I am having the same problem. My Versa 2 is only a few months old was a Christmas present. Touch screen was unresponsive most of the day. I tried the factory reset as advised here and and got the red x. Data not cleared. Repaired and set up again and now saying reset failed. Can't get out of this screen at all now. Helped needed please. Thanks

Hi everyone, thank you for participating in our Fitbit forums!
@Sujbar31, I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is also experiencing screen issues. In order to avoid providing the same information, I'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you have tried. Also, let me know if your watch vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try a factory reset as described below:
Finally, check out if your Versa's display works properly.
I finally contacted customer service (after not being able to use my versa 2 since March because I gave up on it). I did the online chat and after various factory resets etc they have issued a replacement.
Best AnswerHi,
I unfortunately have the exact same problem. I tried doing a factory reset but my Fitbit gets stuck in a restart loop and the problem still remains. Anything else I can do or can you just send a replacement? Cheers
