I just upgraded from a Versa to a Versa 2 on Christmas and haven't had any problems with messages or appointments scheduled syncing to my fitbit from my Note 10+, though I have had to repeatedly reboot my fitbit daily.
This morning, I am receiving my calendar alerts but I am not receiving my text messages.
I have rebooted both devices, stopped the fitbit app and restarted it; I have not uninstalled the app from my phone, as the calendar events are working. I've been working on this for 2 hours.
How do I get my text messages to work?

@ToEKnee213, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not receiving text notifications even though you have tried to get this issue resolved.
I'm afraid that the Note 10+ is not added in the Supported devices list. This is the reason some features may not work properly.
However, I'd like you to give your vote to this Feature Suggestion. This more votes this request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineering team.
We appreciate your patience and understanding with this.
I'll be around if any question arises.

I can't get onboard with this, because it worked fine until yesterday.
I've been a loyal fitbit customer since the FitBit One and this is unacceptable. The Note 10+ has been out for almost 6 months and with the holidays...there has to be someone who can get this to work. I'm afraid you will lose a lot of customers because of this...the forums are LIT UP with this issue.

So, for anyone searching for the answer before going round and round with support and getting nowhere, I just spent 2 hours doing it to have them tell me:
We’re aware of this issue and working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience while we work to get you back on track, and let us know if you have any other questions.
To be clear, I am receiving all other notifications, just not sms messages.

I'm having the same issue since the 3rd of January and if it continues im definitely getting the active2 and leaving Fitbit for good.

I have the S10 and mine is recieving all notifications but text. I received my new replacement versa 2 Thursday and set it up and text were working then just stopped on Saturday. I have done factory reset and everything and still not working. It's a real piss off considering they just sent me this new one 😡

I am so dang frustrated right now. How does a company release a new and improved product that isn't compatible with the new phones out? They get plenty of time to beta test this software before releasing it to the masses; I know how that works, I do it for a living!
I hope this is fixed, like soon.

I have the same problem . Galaxy 10. Text messages suddenly stopped after working for a few weeks. This is ridiculous. I've spent hours trying everything over and over.

Every day that goes by that I am not receiving my text messages, is another day closer to me sending this puppy back.
I'll get a samsung watch, I know that will work with my Note.

What kills me is that it worked fine previously and after fiddling with it I'll get a text here and there. I just got one but I've been deleting my cache and resetting things for hours so I don't know what fixed it. The last thing I did was turn off show in pop ups for text messages but left previews on lock screen on. I also cleared my cache again. It can obviously work so what's the issue?!

Now the person just replied and I didn't get the text when I just got the first one. Kill me now. I am coming from a Pebble Time Round which is over 3 years old and had no issues. The inconsistency of this product is astounding. The bluetooth connection is spotty because my smart lock never stays active consistently. The music control is finicky. Ugh.

I tried that. I've tried everything but get a new fitbit.

Oh I know it works. The other day I all of a sudden got 2 text messages and the next day *poof* gone.
I want to break this thing.

I just updated my post. It stopped working right away. Super frustrating I think I'm going back to my pebble time round. Crazy how a 3 year old device that isn't even made anymore is more consistent than this brand new release.
Here's something else I thought worked that I posted on another thread if you want to give is a shot:
Edit 3 - I just got a few more texts so about 6 total out of 9 in the last hour. This is more texts than I've gotten since new years so I'm going to keep this flash notification on for now and see how it goes. I was going to switch to google messages but I just don't like how it looks and that I can't pin conversations to the top. May do that if this stops working consistently. I didn't even have it installed long enough to test if it worked with versa text notification.
Edit 2 -Just kidding this has now stopped working. Of course. I'm leaving it up in case it works consistently for someone else.
Orig Post- Okay I may have a work around. I had a feeling this had something to do with the screen being locked because when I do get texts I feel like my screen is usually on like when i'm using google maps navigation. When a text comes in the phone screen doesn't light up automatically. I found a thread on the Samsung site about this. https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S10e-S10-S10-S10-5G/S10-Notifications-not-waking-up-scree...
Someone there said that in the accessibility settings there is a screen flash option that lights up the screen briefly. Settings> Accessibility>Advanced Settings>Flash Notification>Screen Flash. I enabled this and got 4 texts in a row on my versa 2 and was able to reply on the watch with my phone screen locked. Fingers crossed this keeps working because we all know the most frustrating thing about this issue is that it sometimes works out of the blue and then stops for no reason. I also don't understand why this only effects text messages when other notifications aren't affected. I'll respond to this thread with an update on whether this continues to work for me.

I DL 'Fit Notifications' and it works fine. I'm only using it for text messages though. So I'm guessing that the problem lies with the fitbit app. FIX IT FITBIT and stop giving us lame advice and wasting our time!

You are using Fit Notifications on a Note 10+?
I'm pretty technologically savvy, but when I enable Fit Notifications for sms messaging I then don't get calendar notifications, and it's not reliable. I am so incredibly annoyed.

I had the same problem with mine Fitbit Versa 2 en mij Phone (Xiaomi mi 9T).
I installed the app 'Sync Fix for Fitbit', open the app and click on FIX NOW and now I received notifications on my Fitbit.

Again, that app doesn't work with Note 10+, that is a Huawei/Honor sync fix tool.
I have went through all the available apps in the Play Store. Nothing works.

I tried Fit Notifications on Samsung S10 and used only for SMS. It worked but not consistently. I didn't test extensively just a couple of hours.
