@Pake25 @Sreeikanth @Michael2020 not sure if this is useful for you but I found a way to know when I have lost connection with my phone, I changed the watchface to a free one that displays the temperature, when the connection drops and notifications stop, the temperature shows as --, so I have a visual prompt on the Fitbit that Houston, we have a problem..

hahaha. Please share which is the watch face so that I can download it as well. I feel Fitbit will be least bothered to even add new compatible models. They will let the users come up with a solution and love with it. Not waste their time and money on R&D

Hi Michael,
I totally understand your pain point here. Being a Fitbit owner myself for the last one week it feels like a dead investment. I do not know if you tried any workaround. Maybe we have to live with it and replace either our phones or the Fitbit. Of course workarounds are not a long term solution.

@Michael2020 is your phone on the fully supported list? mine isn't but since I only knew about the list after I bought it, it's annoying.. I sure would investigate better next time

I have the same phone and same problem! I should have kept my £50 watch that did everything with NO issues in the years and different phones!

I had 6 year old pebble watch that was dropping connection mostly because of battery issues I think, and possibly android Bluetooth issues too.. now I have a new watch, but the same issues and £160 worse off 🤣and in violation for trying to help others fix the same issue🤣
Fitbit IS NOT FOR ME 🤣and would tell anyone else to steer clear too

Is there a name for this watch? I cannot find this?

@Sreeikanth Go Clock? It's under the free watches section of the watches selection on the Fitbit app, but any watch face with a temperature option will do the same I guess

I have a Versa (1st gen) and been having issues with notifications on and off for the last several weeks. I get in contact with Fitbit support, do everything they say and have to get it sent to a higher support level. It starts to work then about a week or so later it stops again. This has been going on for about a month now and I’ve done EVERYTHING including deleting the entire thing from my phone (several times). I’ve barely had this a year and I’m extremely frustrated with this. If it continues I will be changing to an Apple Watch, because this is just not worth the haste anymore.

Mine has stopped working again this is constant I couldn't wait to get this watch and it was a big deal spending so much money on the watch for it to not work properly. I'm on the compatible list and I've done all the changes to not have a constant connection

@Julielynne86 isn't it frustrating! Most of the people on this thread have android phones so I'm not sure if the workaround we're all talking about will work for an iphone, but if I was you I'd go with the Apple watch because these Versas are a pain. I went for the new Versa 2 over the cheaper slightly older Versa because I read so many reviews saying that was clearly a not fully functioning prototype product (versa 1) but it seems to me that Versa 2 isn't much better 😥

Same here went for the dearer one hoping it would be the better one now starting to wish I hadn't 😕

@Michael2020 yeah I just want it work properly too, but since it hasn't since I got it a week ago I'm not holding my breath 😆 but it's useful for me to know it's down by seeing temp reading has gone blank, because then I'm not second guessing whether I'm just not getting anything because there's no mail or messages or because this watch is rubbish and dropped the connection again

Yeah same here re wanting it to work all the time was just showing how long it worked for which was a couple of hours!
Hey everyone.. I finally jumped ship from my unreliable Pebble classic to the Fitbit Versa 2, and 3 days in, I'm finding when it works for the notifications it's actually great, but when it decides not to get notifications and gives me that red message about my device needing a restart to get notifications (it still syncs during all this) it's Really Frustrating! I have been over 2.5 hours today trying to get it going, restarts, unpair, connect, starting Amazon music to try and force a connection, forget cache, force stop, and so on.. and still nothing! Am I being a bit thick here? There doesn't seem to be any way of knowing from the watch if I'm connected or not, other than I get a notification of SMS or email.. my pebble said 'connected' if I checked the Bluetooth under settings, and even then half the time it wouldn't get the notifications which is why I got this new fitbit but it's driving me quite insane.. I'm using an Honor 8x, so is it android 10? Is it me? I really want this to work and not be running crying back to John Lewis.. can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please?
