I have done everything properly, deleted the app and reinstalled and every other thing one can do. I am not receiving any msgs (whatssapp, texts or instagram). I am only receiving calls and emails.
Anyone know how to fix this!?

It didn't work for me either. I hope it gets fixed soon. Really irritated with the whole thing.

I am also having a similar problem with my Galaxy S10, however, I do not receive any notifications...texts or calls. I just read a comment in a different thread and another person mentioned she noticed her problems started after Samsung did a system update recently. That rang a bell and I think that might be why I am having this issue too.
I have followed all the steps in every help article I could find on the Fitbit website and nothing works. One suggestion I saw in the other thread was to try Google Messaging or Verizon Messages. That seems to help with the text notifications. I will try that next. I just wish I could find a solution to the issue of not receiving phone calls.

I have a note 10 plus emails work ,but not text messaging , no problems up until a few days ago . Very frustrated I hope there is a remedy soon.

I just down loaded a new messaging app. Called "messages". I set it as my default for texts. And now I'm getting texts on my versa 2 again. I'll see how long it lasts for. At least until they fix this bug and send out an update, whether it's for fitbit or my samsung, I'll be able to hopfully recive my texts again.

OMG I fixed mine! Go to settings-notifications-show previews should be set to always or when unlocked. I’m finally getting text message notifications on my Versa! I have the iPhone 8.

go into your message notifications and turn preview to “when unlocked”. Problem solved hope this helps.

Ohh that’s rubbish then 😞 sorry I couldn’t help. Have you done a live chat with Fitbit? I did that with them and many emails and that is how I resolved my problem. I told them that I had done all the troubleshooting, which I had, and finally got it sorted.

The only thing that helped me was downloading a new messaging app and changing it to my default. I used messages by Google. Since I did that, I have received My text notifications consistently again. Believe me when I say I went through every setting in my phone and my Fitbit. This was the only thing that has worked.

My versa 2 was not receiving notifications. After trying all options available, I went to the “do not disturb” section on my phone settings. I had a scheduled do not disturb setting for 10pm to 7am. Obviously the watch does not distinguish which is am and pm because I got notifications thru the night but none this morning starting at 10am. I took the scheduled do no disturb off and it works fine now

Nope only thing that worked for me is what I posted. I tried everything else. Finally got it fixed though!
