Versa 2 won't swipe

I can see the home screen on my Versa 2 but can’t do anything from there. On the rare occasion I can get it to move to another page, I can’t get anything to work when I touch an icon. I’ve restarted it multiple times and charged it to see if either of those would help but nothing changed.

I did the update as well... no help. They are sending me a replacement-I
am not sending mine back until I receive my new one. Then I’m contacting
amazon to see if I can return the replacement for full price and getting an
Apple Watch.

I think I will follow suite. I was thinking about starting another LIVE CHAT to discuss that I will not send mine back until I receive the replacement and also ask why several individuals in the forums here have not even been required to send the defective device in at all in order to receive the replacement.

You shouod definitely look into that.. I didn't have to send anything back, I just got my replacement and threw out the old one..

I’m having the same issue, began yesterday. I’ve tried everything to correct the issue but to no avail. It’s extremely frustrating. Has anyone found a fix?

You need to call or go online to customer service and they will send you a new fitbit.  They did not want me to send mine back so I at least had mine to track my steps and stuff but I have had people say that they had to send theirs back so they were without one for a couple of weeks!  I called customer service and they were nice and I had a new one in about a week!  Good luck and yes it is very frustrating, I wish they were actually FIXING the problem instead of just sending out replacements!!!

I found a possible workaround, but if true this needs to be patched ASAP.

 

To be clear I was having the exact same issues with not being able to swipe after my watch was idle for say an hour or so. Upon trying to wake up the watch it would not swipe.

 

So far this workaround has worked for about 13 hours. Go to Settings and set the Screen Awake option to "Manual (button)". Having the default option of Auto (Motion) causes the watch to freeze upon waking up.

 

For those experiencing the same issues try this. I'm curious if it helps others.

Mines is doing the same. Just got it for Christmas as a gift so how do I return it? Mines turned off and on randomly. I can't swipe. I tried to switch clock faces and it won't switch. On the app it gets stuck.

I’m going to call Fitbit’s customer service number tomorrow and tell them I
want a new one. I got mine in November.

I called and talked to a Customer Service rep and he walked me through a couple of things and said he would send me a new one, I didn't have to send my old one back and they replaced it.  It was very easy, it took about a week to get a new one and now the new one works fine.  I have heard you can go on line and fill out something but I thought it was easier to talk to someone.  I had no problems!

I sent back sold one, received the new one and sent it back to amazon. I
then promptly went and got an Apple Watch.
