Versa 3 randomly rebooting itself

My brand new versa 3 keeps rebooting itself. I am not doing anything or touching it. I will feel a vibration on my wrist while I am sitting, and when I look at my watch it shows the fitbit logo and reboots. It has been doing this since I got it less than a week ago and does it several times a day. It's rather annoying. Anything I can do to fix it?

Mine  is doing the same, has been rebooting constantly since Friday. I have tried resetting it and nothing! Just logo comes up a buzz and turns blank, then logo and a buzz then blank screen again.

I've had a Versa 3 for about two years. Two operational problems with it, rebooting itself and reverting to an unwanted clock face. Sometimes both happen, sometimes one or the other. I replaced a Samsung Active with it because of much better display and health monitoring, but if the dumb thing keeps rebooting and changing displays I need during workouts, what's the point? It doesn't lose data, but it fails to capture anything while it's farting around deciding whether or not it wants to work. (Versa also has a grossly inferior timer that goes up to two hours versus Samsung's 24.)

From what I've been able to observe, it seems that the rebooting is caused by the sensors on the back of the watch pressing too firmly into the skin. I have no clue why that would do it, but there is no other explanation. I thought of the button on the side being activated, and that's not the case. I need to have it fairly snug because of my goofy wrist geometry, and that seems to be beyond the threshhold of whatever sensitivity in the watch is doing this. The face that I use because of the health stats display I need is from FitFace, but those are supposed to be safe. I guess not. So then why does Rebootfit keep allowing their products to be installed?

By the way, I also tried a Zepp GTR4. You think Rebootfit has crap support? At least they tell you something, however insincere or meaningless. Zepp has ZERO customer support response, and it locked me out of my data when I got a new phone and the app didn't transfer correctly but won't let me request a new password.

Hey there! I noticed this was posted 3 years ago, yet I see no way to fix this problem?
I’m currently having issues with my Versa 3, resetting repeatedly, it won’t update an app, and I don’t believe it’s staying connected to the internet,

I’m on my second replacement watch under warranty - it still reboots when it wants to

Two plus years later and my Versa 3 just started rebooting itself every few minutes. Very disappointing. How do I keep the device updated if it won't stay on for more than a few minutes at a time? And why all of the sudden?! I've had the watch for at least two years and it has been fine. I replaced a brand new Sense at that time because it was doing the same thing.

What real guidance can you give to correct this issue?

Don't worry everyone Fitbit is aware of the issue; they just don't truly care.  Best answer is get a Garmin.

I can’t be certain what’s causing your Fitbit to reboot but for me, it was because I installed the clock face that was causing it

I figured it out on my own.  What resolved my issue was turning Bluetooth off on a second device that had the Fitbit app. Once I did that, the rebooting stopped, for the most part. It seems like the Fitbit app doesn’t like competition!

A clock face issue might be understandable, but it is not my issue. I've been running the same clock face for many months. I took the watch off and charged it to 100%. The rebooting stopped. It was at about 75% when the cycle started, so I'm not sure why a battery status would be relevant, but the constant reboot cycle has ended. So... no cause known and no solution known. As a workaround, I might simply put it on the charger again if it starts back up. Oh well... \?/

My FitBit Versa 3 just started to act up a couple of days ago. It goes on a reboot mode. Finally drained all the battery and tried a hard restart. Worked for half a day and then went back to looping mode. Very disappointed.
