After spending an hour with Customer Support troubleshooting (device not syncing and stair count is way off), they told me to do a factory reset. The Versa is asking me to download the Fitbit app which is already on my phone. I can't do anything with the phone...keeps scrolling through different languages. This device is a huge disappointment!

This doesnt work. It gets flashing back to screen awake screen.

You also have to delete versa from your tablet or computer as well if you have fit bit app on them. That solved my problem.

Did this really work ? I tried the steps ( wait till the second fitbit logo disappears while the three buttons are pressed and then released the lower right button but the watch never vibrated even after a long time 😞
Any help is appreciated.

I have this same problem me and my partner have tried every possible work a roundness or variation for this reset process... Its doing my head in!!

Hi yes they offered an replacement pebble. I spoke to them over Webchat they were helpful and informed.

I factory reset mine, trying to address the wacky heart rate issue and it never came back to life. No matter what the did, it stayed dead.
I gave up.
