I was able to see here that our friend @WendyB provided some instructions in order to fix this screen issue. Was this the answer you were looking for? @Laurenpr, upon checking with our support team, I was told that you have already contacted them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide you a solution, just keep an eye on your inbox for further assistance.
@Medeous, have you tried the restart process? If you haven't, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I restart my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.

I've done the 3 button reset a few times. It will seem to go away and then returns with the vertical lines five minutes later. I did a factory reset and went through setting it up all over. It came back. Not sure what else to do at this point.

Hi mine is exactly the same. I’ve spoke to them at customer service and they are sending me a new one ! I’ve only had mine 3 months and I’ve tried all the resets .

This is my second one that has done this 😒 They are also sending me a new one:) The customer service has been great.
