Versa isn't tracking my sleep

What is going on with the sleep tracker all of a sudden? The Versa was tracking my sleep wonderfully until about a week or two ago. Now it either doesn't track or says I've been up for hours during the night, which I know isn't correct. My Samsung Gear 2 never had this problem. Was there an update that I wasn't aware of that's messed this up? I'm about to send this watch back and go with another brand. This was a big part as to why I bought this. Nothing has changed in how I've been wearing it. What's happened? Anyone else experiencing this?

Exactley! The whole point of having the Versa is for it to track everything for you, not have to manually enter or edit. Not impressed at all with Versa. I never had issues with Charge 2. It seems the new versions they come out with have more and more problems.

Holding down all three buttons seems to have fixed the heart rate problem at least. We’ll see if it solves the sleep tracking issue too. I’ve been without it for a week now.

My versa stopped tracking my sleep on Sunday.  What has changed Fitbit?

My heart rate monitor also stopped at the same time.  I have held all 3 buttons as suggested by another poster - heart rate monitor back on line, will find out tonight if sleep tracking working again or not.

Mine stopped tracking sleep stages since 13 Feb, only shows sleep patterns. I simply wear the device to sleep with proper fitting and fully charged. My versa also stop green flash to detect my HR. I've tried including shot down and restart, three bottom reboot, and factory reset; nothing worked!

I found that Fitbit released an update. After installed and restart my versa, the HR tracker seems working normal now. We'll see if the sleep tracker problem solved or not.

I did a restart on mine too. So far it’s tracking again but no longer ever has the flashing light on the back that it used to have....

Thank you for your reply.
Did 3 Button reset yesterday and the Versa recorded ALL sleep last night.
This seems to be a recurring problem with the Versa, come on Fitbit get it sorted.

UPDATE:

My husband is having trouble with this update, his screen is telling him “we were unable to update/install one or more apps please try again”
What does this mean and how can he go forward with his update / installation?

UPDATE 2:

If this persists you should contact Fitbit direct.
I had a load of trouble with my first Charge2 and contacted Fitbit chat, they were fantastic, I was really impressed with their customer care. I persevered and my fourth replacement Charge2 is working fine now. You do have to be like a dog with a bone, but worth the inconvenience.

Morning all, update:- So after 3 button press yesterday kick starting the heart rate tracking, I was left with finding out if my sleep would be picked up again.  This morning my versa didn't show my sleep stat from last night but when I synched with app everything showed up on both phone app and on Versa.

Thanking you all for advice and positivity.  😀

I'm having the problem - Versa stopped tracking sleep last night.

Versa is / was charged.

Wearing it at same place on my wrist.

Bluetooth is working, steps, heart rate is syncing.

I turned on off Versa 3 times.

Turned Bluetooth on/off.

No Sleep tracked on Versa, nor app.

😞

I reset my fitbit by holding down all three buttons until the fitbit icon appeared as someone on the forum suggested. It worked for a few days, but awoke this morning it once again did not track my sleep. This is frustrating as this was the main reason I purchased the Versa. I never had issues with my Charge 2. Hopefully you can get this bug fixed.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 5G Evolution smartphone

Hold down all 3 buttons simultaneously until fitbit logo comes up. Should
reset it. If not try contacting fitbit directly. Good luck.

Hi all,

Many thanks for all your tips. I finally got it working- stopped using the Sleep App. Versa automatically tracks sleep and syncs with the app in the morning. Cheers
