Versa notifications not being consistent

Is anyone else having the same issue as me? The notifications for text messages and other notifications were working on my Versa. They now keep stopping. I have to then go into notifications on my app and it keeps saying phone restart. I restart my phone and then it works for a while, then it stops again. I should not have to keep restarting me phone every hour for the notifications to work. It seems Fitbit have quite a few small issues with the Versa.

Checked that too, was on and has been on the entire time I've owned the watch. Crazy thing is it worked great for a few weeks, I have done nothing different, no new updates to OS or fitbit app but now nothing notification wise works. I can send a test call to the watch and it works sometimes, but real calls and texts I still get 0 100% of the time

Yeah. I am getting so fed up with all of this. I hope people considering VERSA read this thread first and don't buy it.

 

For me too, first it didn't work, then it worked for like 10 days, now not working again. This is a joke

Surely they will figure this thing out.. I do like the size and the way it fits. I just want it to do all they promise. Thanks for your response. Have a great Holiday weekend.

As everyone mentioned, we've done your recommended steps here many times and are unfortunately very familiar with this site you post. Notifications are inconsistent and now texts have stopped, no matter what I do.

I have returned the product, was great but failed. Would Def repurchase if problem is fixed but return window was closing quick. Good luck and hope they resolve everyone's issues

This is seriously annoying. I've been on a live chat twice now. I've gone through the restarting bluetooth, the devices and everything. The notifications worked perfectly when i first got it, and now it's severely inconsistent.  I'm passed the 45 day mark, I can't find my receipt and fitbit can't offer any reason why these notifications are so inconsistent.  I'm getting really annoyed and just want a replacement.  I've talked to a friend that has one, and hasn't had any issues.

Just an update on my lack of text notification issue - I never got Message+ app text notifications to start working again, trying all recommendations. On my Samsung Galaxy, I changed to using the Message app, and things have been great so far.

I don't have the Message+ app, just Messages.  But it seems to be the Bluetooth connection in general. NONE of my notifications are coming to my phone that I had set up to forward to the device. UGHH

It has not been fixed. All settings are turned on and still no messages come through

Well, I've been thru all that too. Then they tell me my phone is not
compatible with the Fitbit verse... go figure how can it work okay for
six,seven, eight, nine 10 days and then nothing at all it's so annoying

This is a on going problem!! B it’s ridiculous!! My text messages never come through!! Why????

I wasted my money on this watch!!

never again will I purchase a Fitbit!!!

Solution to getting messages is Don't setup wifi skip it in setup. then leave the app open in the back ground.

Go into the fitbit app. where the watch icon is click it and then go down to wifi setup click and choose your wifi and click on forget. if this doesn't work just remove the watch in the fitbit app and reset it up and skip wifi setup
