This fixed my issue. Thanks! I didn't even know this was a feature!

I was having the same issue, and as I was messing with my versa trying to fix it, I held down the lock screen button for a moment and the options of "screenwake" and "notifications on/off" popped up and I realized that I must have accidentally turned my notification setting off at some point.
So maybe check that

I’ve recently been having issues with mine. Unfortunately I don’t have time to read all the pages and pages of this. But I was wondering if it’s an Apple thing. Apple already wouldn’t let us reply to texts from versa. I got mine end of may for my birthday. It’s perfect. But within the last couple weeks, it’s stopped vibrating for texts and calls. They’re still there when I swipe down. But no alert. I did as you said about the “device lock” however, I can’t find ANYTHING on my app with that’s option..

I just received my versa yesterday. I do not get the vibrations for any texts, emails, phone calls, or my alarm. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit app. I have changed the vibration from normal to strong. I had an Alta and it died on me, wouldn't stay on once taken off the charger and no answers on how to fix it. So I thought I would buy a versa instead. Didn't really want to spend this much but thought I would give it a try. I would really like it fixed to work properly for the money I spent. I have been a Fitbit wearer for over 5 years. Do I need to return the versa and go to a different brand?

This! Was just about to smash my Versa to bits and found this response - I think while changing the strap I had somehow turned this feature off and now the vibrate is back when a text/call comes through. Thanks

Changing my strap was quite fiddly so I kept pressing all the buttons and touching the screen etc. while doing it. When when I checked after reading this post, by pressing and holding the left button, and seeing that the notifications were off, I turned them back on and it now works. I didn’t turn them off it myself so can only assume that I somehow did it with all the fiddling about.

My versa is having the same problem. I am getting the notifications on my Fitbit but it is not vibrating. I reset it then nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It is still not vibrating. What should I do now?

i have been having this problem for months. i have tried all of the troubleshooting. sometimes it will work for a few hours and then stops working again. i am missing a lot of texts and phone calls because of this. i have contacted fitbit support several times, have been assigned a case number but they just keep saying they hope it will be fixed with the next update. i am thinking of returning my versa and going to the apple watch! i didn't have any of these problems with my alta. i have been a fitbit user since the fitbit one!

I was having this issue as well and tried all the steps except for removing my Versa from the Fitbit app and reinstalling. It still didn't work so I decided to remove my Versa from the app and then reinstall it again. Now it works perfectly. Thanks for all the suggestions!
