Fitbit Update: 12/18/19
Hi everyone,
When this thread started earlier this year, the issue was that waterlogging on the watch was not syncing over to the Fitbit app. No matter what you would log, it just wouldn't show up in the Fitbit app and didn't sync the information over.
Now, we're seeing reports that waterlogging is syncing over, but it is the wrong amount of water that was logged onto the watch. To keep threads organized and on-topic, I'm now going to close this thread and move the conversation here: Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app.I've already merged some posts from this thread into that one.
If you're experiencing this new issue after updating to Fitbit OS 4.1, follow that thread for updates.

I'm having the EXACT same problem as you with my water log NOT syncing. I'm using Galaxy S9 and I have forced closed the app, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, shut down the versa, etc. This is getting frustrating. All of the recent updates messed up what was working previously.

Did a live chat this morning. The tech couldn't fix it. So she escalated to another level of tech support. They are going to contact me via email in 24 to 48 hours.
So far, I'm totally unimpressed with my new fitbit.

No matter what I do, the watch logs 0.5 oz of water! Even if I type 16.9 oz. It still logs 0.5 oz. SO ANNOYING! And because this is such a long-time ongoing issue, I'm even more aggravated that it hasn't been fixed!

Yes, I have to log 475oz on the watch to get 16oz on the app. Mine was working before the update as long as I updated the app daily. Otherwise it would move my logging over to whatever day I updated the app. It would combine the current days logging with past days if the app wasn’t updated daily. Now it’s converting it to .5 when I enter 16oz on the watch. Aggravating at best!!

Just got a new Versa 2. Watch is up to date and apps are up to date. The water logged on the watch won't sync in the app. Shows as no water consumed in the app and deletes everything from the watch after syncing.

Since the update, I am not able to log water on my watch. It does not save on the watch or register in the app. I can log water in the app, but it does not sync to my watch unless I close and reopen the app.
I did search this question before posting. I see lots of people are having a variety of issues, but I saw no responses.

It still doesn't work!!! I've logged water on my versa 2 and it does not show up in the app. I've tried force stopping the app, restarting the watch and nothing! Please fix this. Looks like it's been an issue for a while now. There is no excuse for this to be taking so long.

I'm having the same issue. I log it on my versa 2, it doesn't show up on the app and disappears from the watch. WTF?

Bought a new Versa 2. It has this problem. Absolutely appalled that it's been a known issue for year and nothing.has been done. Have spent the past 36 hours finding problem after problem like this; they know if needs fixing, they just don't. This is shockingly bad, Fitbit. What are you playing at?

It appears that it is logging it in mL instead of ounces. In order for me to enter it on the watch, I have to put in 946.4 so 32 ounces shows up. Annoying. It was working. I have my water set to ounces.

Hello,
I'm having the same issue. I'll log water on my Versa 2 and it rarely shows the total logged, usually only showing the last amount I logged. I've tried syncing my phone with the app. Exiting and reopening and nothing seems to fix it. I have a Pixel 3.

Same issue here.
just bought a versa 2 special edition and this problem is very annoying,
i want to keep this register and I can’t because of that,
i don’t want to do the conversion every single time I want to enter a log,
this is frustrating

@Lmsu18 I understand the frustration. I just input my water on the phone app instead of the versa now (I had to adjust after 10 months of logging in on my wrist). I didn't have any issues until they did firmware updates for that versa 2. It caused issues issues for the original versa wearers.🙄

I'm still messing with this. Nothing they tell me works.
I just don't understand this. I wouldn't think this would be something that's hard to fix.
