I can't understand if my home is on a 5G network why the Versa can't run on that(according to the Fitbit support Desk)? My wife's iWatch doesn't have any issues with getting phone calls, text messages and all the exercise capabilities it offers.

I am probably not understanding your question, but the tracker and the phone "talk" to each other through syching and bluetooth. your phone can be on 5G and if your tracker is bluetooth connected to the phone all notifications elected and supported will come through. if you are talking about apps that are on the versa itself, they rely on wifi...

Thanks for your reply. The 5G means the data rate transfer is 5 gigabytes per second which most home internet connections are at 2.4 gigabytes per second. I d have the bluetooth on, so that helps and ironically I was able to get through the set up at my office. With the push for even the phone carriers to move to 5G, I hope Fitbit addresses this soon.

Hi @Lnicoff - watch syncing is done over Bluetooth with the phone.
If you have a syncing problem it is not due to either Data 5G or Wifi 5 gHz, but more likely a phone setting issue. See Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
