Is the Wifi supposed to stay connected if I am in my home where I connected it at or does it disconnect after a certain amount of time?
Obviously it will disconnect after I leave my house, but will it reconnect automatically when I come back into my house?
Mine does not appear to be staying connected and I am having sync issues (just restarted my Versa) so will see if that helps, but not sure what to look for on the Wifi issue.
Thank you.

I am having the same issue as others with only 10 to 15 seconds of wifi connection. I am trying to download music from pandora stations to which i have a premium account. It still only connects for a couple seconds then disconnects and tells me i have no stations and to setup through fitbit app on phone again.

My versa is doing the same thing. It never use to. And like you said, it will connect when needed. But I just get a message that says Fitbit tried to download music, but cant connect to wifi. So i have to enter the wifi password every time. I shouldnt have to. Never had to before, but now I do. And it wont stay connected long enough to connect to pandora. It imedetly disconnects.

Mine is doing the same. And the reasons I'm trying to stay connected is to search the free watch faces. As soon as I back out of wifi area it disconnected. I

Wifi is needed to download watch faces. I. Trying to download one simple free face and as soon as I back out to the third party area from wifi setup it disconnects me and said oops there is not connection. So to say it's only needed for what you have stated is false. Even when I click Gallery it says oops no connection.

I was wrong and a very helpful person in the community solved the problem. My Cellphones DNS was set to private. As soon as I changed it I had access to the gallery and was able to download clock faces. FYI I chatted with tech support before posting in the community and they were no help at all and didn't mention one thing that this individual did to resolve it. The Tech support start taking notes for when customers call in, the community members have more knowledge and advice!!

Thank you for pointing out the wifi and Bluetooth functions.
Wi-Fi is strictly for large data transfer such as music files and firmware updates and Bluetooth is for syncing. Since the updates should only take seconds to complete it makes sense that the wifi disconnects after maybe twenty seconds.
Easy peasy, nice and easy.
