Please let us view our custom groups (made by friends) on the Fitbit app! If it's available on dashboard, it should be available on the app. Thanks!

Putting the custom activity groups on the mobile app would be great!

Seems very stupid you can create a group but can't track or follow it via the App. Would be a much-appreciated feature I'm sure!

@piggypichu it would be help full to have the title include the actual subject of the request.

Currently we have several requests for your subject.

Please add an option on the mobile app to access community groups that we have made/ are in. It's much more fun to interact and challenge my friends that I know in a personal group rather than only the ones fitit has made.

Being able to create a group of people you know so that everyone can be accountable and motivated is a really helpful feature. Being able to do that from the mobile app is essential! However, not currently possible. Clearly, as a wearable FitBit is aware of the essential nature of mobility and function. Why is this feature not already done? If you really thought people would login on their phone to the FitBit website why create the app? Because people don’t want to when they’re already mobile and already use the app to log....duh! Efficiency people. Please don’t make this yet another year you’re asking people to get out of your app to track their created groups on the web ON THEIR PHONE. Thank you.

Stepping Up

@Rich_Laue Hi, would you be able to link the other posts relating to my subject because when I searched I couldn't find anything? Thanks

Also, I felt that the title I used was completely relevant to my request.😊

Custom activity groups is a MAJOR reason my company purchased a Fitbit for all their leadership.  We have an active group that is engaged in workplace wellness.  It would be great (even vital) that custom activity groups be visable from the app!!!

Do this already.  It is a motivator!! Very inconvenient that you need to login on a computer to see your place in the group

FitBit is just a glorified watch! What’s the point of ringtone create a custom when you can not use them with ease! Ease, meaning haveing to into the website every time you need to see how clients and the such are doing. For me that means having to loose around an hour or more every day since I check multiple times. Tapping on app is more efficient! I am looking into a replacement.

When will we be able to view a group created by ourselves in the app rather than logging onto the website itself. Very frustrating for what is probably an easy fix.

READ THIS: It is NOT going happen. FITBIT does not care about your petty
concerns.

Why have a “community tab” on the app that does not allow people to set custom groups with their community? It is very inconvenient to have to switch from app to browser to see the setting and it makes no sense to have it just as a web based feature.

please change this!

I agree @Tamera1989 . I have to track my moods as well and it would be wonderful if Fitbit would add this to their app along with a diary section.

I thought creating a group would be the perfect way to monitor an entire class for PE, it's extremely inconvenient to not be able to add friends to a group with out an email and to not even be able to access specific groups through the app.

We need in app access to our groups!

Hi everyone thanks for sharing this suggestion. This is being discussed although I do not have a firm commitment or timeline at the moment. Do continue to vote for this feature suggestion whilst it’s under consideration.

Please note that if something is under consideration and chosen for development, it can be a while until it's released or until I have any news to share. Please watch this space for any updates! Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for the update Yojana.

I have an employee group that started out at 78 members less than 6
months ago that has now reduced down to 58 members due primarily to the
participant's inability to access the group from the App on their
phones. This would be a much appreciated feature to help encourage the
health and wellness of our employees.

Sincerely,

Being able to have a private group (like a work group) that is able to chat, support, challenge, view progress on the app would be a great option. Not just for the customer service aspect, but for selling products. This is why I am surprised this is not an option already. Especially seeing that the comments go back to 2014.

I'm glad to see that it is under consideration at the moment, though would be good to see something pushed out this year.

I agree.  I’m part of a fitness community and would love to have the ability to challenge other members of the group and be able to easily find and send the group information.  I believe it would be a great benefit for th F3 Memphis Community or even F3 Nation.  I rarely use my Fitbit desktop.  But I use my Fitbit app daily!
