Add a "Find my phone" app in the Fitbit App Gallery

We all misplace our phones from time to time. Since there is Bluetooth connection, it should be simple to reverse the notification and ring your phone. So long as the phone is within Bluetooth range, this should be a feature on the new Versa/Ionic.

Did you load the companion app into the phone. 

It does work as it was able to signal my phone today.

@CyHebert after installing Find My Phone into the Versa. Go into the Find My Phone settings through the Fitbit app on the phone. 

It tells you to install and run the Find My Device in your phones app store. Then you enter the code

The app once you’ve paid for it, have installed the app, worked out what dumbness needs to happen next even when you’ve done all that it’s a pretty poor app. Doesn’t work in silent mode etc. After 5 years with fitbit I’ve now gone with an Apple Watch. Fitbit if your listening you can’t say I didn’t give you a chance to sort yourselves out.gonna use the fitbit just for sleep tracking. That’s it’s

Add ‘Find my IPhone” and “blood pressure)”. (Chinese have done, I used one & worked well).

Have a Versa 2, and iPhone 8.

I agree, We payed money for this product and it should include basic
features like Find my phone with no extra charge. The Fitbit devices price
has already raised enough to be comparable with other brands, so it should
include more features than before.

I AGREE! the inexpensive trackers even have this function.

The third party app doesn't work.

It's funny how the third party non working app found my phone twice this week, one time I was almost 100 feet away from phone. 

Follow the directions, download the sister app an register. It works. 

My brother has his setup to find both his and wife's phone.

@1leaffan Most phones today come with some type of find my phone. This request is for a Find my Phone app for the Fitbit tracker. 

It's a one time very small charge that can be transferred to the next tracker.

Exactly why this feature should be built into the watch. Small charge should be no charge and it should be an integrated feature of the watch. A number of people have reported issues with the app and its capability....

I agree! Fitbit developers, please give us this for free! I am looking at
other brands just to get this feature! Everyone needs this! Would boost
your sales & others commenting would surely be happy! You always wear your
watch; in a store, in house, in car - phones get lost!

Just saying, Fitbit Develpment Team, I’d rather say that, than “wish I had
got the Samsung.”

Fitbit Developers, do the math! We should have this free option! Tried
the pay app for this & did not work on my phone, nor was it quite clear on
instructions.

A dissatisfied customer will tell between 9-15 people about their
experience. Around 13% of dissatisfied customers tell more than 20 people.

Happy customers who get their issue resolved tell about 4-6 people about
their experience.

If I find one product I really like, I am one of the customers that will
give you tons of “positive reviews” on the product!

What did Fitbit say? 

People wanted the ability to produce and sell their own apps. Someone stepped up and produced a find my phone app. 

I guess they could have decided to give it away, but they didn't. I don't remember but if it was more than a dollar I would not have gone for it.
