Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

I like this idea. Especially floors and distance. Distance is actually more accurate than steps. WHen my wife and I go for a one mile walk together it's common for me to get 2100 steps while she gets 2400-2500 steps. If you look solely at steps, you'd think she walk 25% further! 🙂

Just an idea, and it may have been brought up already, but an idea for additional challenges might be a collective step target, where you'd choose a challenge (24 hr, 5 day, etc) then choose a collective target for the challenge (combined steps of the group), and once your group completed that challenge, they'd each get a collective step badge or something. They could be small (50000) all the way up to millions, for larger groups.

Can Fitbit create a team challenge where each person's step total each week adds to the team. #TeamSteps or #SquadSteps Perhaps then have teams or squads take on one another per week! I believe this could be super motivating, promote wellness, community building, and a fun way to build relationships with others via Fitbit. Thanks!

I would like a distance challenge. I regularly challenge with friends and my wife however we noticed a real disadvantage to certain users. If my wife and I do a five mile walk she racks up thousands of more step than me due to our height differences. This makes the challenges pointless as we cannot compete on an even playing field. Is there a way we could choose distance rather than steps?

We should be able to compete by calories burned against friends and not only by steps any exercise that we could burn calories when our heart rate goes up. I would like to see it in the app and have the calories burned next to the steps

How about some new challenges?? Like one for calories burned or active minutes...Step challenges are kinda lame...

It would be great to customize challenges.  I personally would like a full week challenge Monday -Sunday for steps.   I Hope Fitbit  comes up with something for all of us to set challenges up,

Thanks...

(If we can already do this and I just don't know how to ,could someone please tell me.)

It would be great if the challenges provide a way to select steps, distance, heart rate etc. instead of just steps.

It would be nice if you could accept more than 5 challenges at the time. Invites for a workweek hustle cannot be accepted if you have weekend warrior, goal day and daily showdowns going on.
By the time the finished challenges have synced, the challenge you were invited for might be full because if a max of 10

And different challenges: it would be cool if you could work together as a team as well and walk a certain distance on the map so people actually feel they are walking towards a certain destination. Someone with a fitbit bracelet told me they have this feature. Would be cool if the One could have this as well

I'm all for more players per challenges and more than 5 challenges! I also want smarter challenge badge notifications-- I hate that even if the challenge filled up before I could join, the "red badge" stays. I wish the badge would go away when the challenge was no longer available to me, or that I could delete the full challenge from my challenge list.

It would be nice to not be limited to 5 challenges. Also, the ability to have more than 10 in a challenge. We have a large group at work that want to compete, but we have to run seperate challenges. Why the limits?!

Fitbit needs more challenges other than steps. Challenges like most calories burned, most floors climbed, most active minutes etc. I find it hard to believe you guys haven't thought this out yet. Hell, even add most sleep time.

This would give more people in the group to have a better chance to compete in challenges other than just steps. Reason being, I have this one guy in my group who drives a truck. Well, when he drives the truck he gets like 25k steps a day even though he isn't really moving. When we match "active minutes" we all destroy him because we are actually working out. Yeah we could delete him but it's my goal to beat him by fitness. So it sort of motivates me but demotivates the others in my group because he logs 150k+ steps each week without exercise.

I also think that setting challenges for others would be cool! Check out this forum post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Setting-Challenge-for-others/idi-p/1185188

I have sadly come to the conclusion that no matter what we all post in here the developers are simply not listening. The same topics come up over and again and nothing gets done. I have been told on Twitter a few times that they read all posts but if that were the case something would have been updated. I guess they are working on the premise that as long as they continue to sell the device they don't need to satisfy us as we are still using the device despite them ignoring us.

Well they are being very short sighted... I belong to a running fb page and when ppl ask about the surge on there I tell them what f they looking for a running watch then go for something else as much as I love my surge I wear a garmin for running and thus I tell ppl to get a garmin if it's running they want it for a surge really us far too limited.... Ps there are thousands members on this page and I'm not the only one saying all tht so are others and yes we have put ppl off of buying it

Really need to be able to add more than 10 people - I end up with 3 - 4 of same challenge going just so we can all compete - this then limits the amount of other challenges I can take part in

It would be nice if you could challenge your friends to more than step goals.
A climbing challenge for most floors in a period
A miles challenge.
Heart rate zone challenges.

I too am more interested in calories I burn than steps taken as my exercise effort doesn't count in step challenges. Can we please have calorie challenges too!

Distance would be awesome for those of us training for races! A drop-down menu would make all of us happy

Stepping Up
This is complete.y useless! Everyone is asking for the exact same things.
More people in challenges
More challenges
And yet Fitbit hasn't done anything about it. I bet they don't even read these.

YES, YES, YES!

Imagine how viral it would be when I could have my own challenges with my own friends and colleagues.
