Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

Hi~

I recently bought the fitbit charge HR.

The fitbit [challenge] feature is a natural movement through a healthy competition.

But now the challenge is limited to 10 persons.

Me and my friends recently in a challenge to buy a fitbit competitively compete and seek a healthy life. By the way, 10 more fitbit friends ask me play, I need to create two challenge room and each chalenge room distinguish between traits, than we lose the fun when we were ten.

More than 10 people can challenge would in the challenge room ...?

Or we can attach a name to every challenge room ...?

Challenge rooms to more than 10 people is also a major contributor to the increasing sales of the fitbit would do.

Now we have more friends to buy the fitbit, but suffered due to 10 person rule of the challenge room.

Please increase members of challenge room.

PS: also, like the Samsung Galaxy App S-CARE, if we can see the record and the rank of whole of the world fitbit user, it will be better.

Please raise an enhancement request to increase the number of people on the challenges from a maximum of 10? Say 15 or 20 maybe?

A handful of coworkers and I do the workweek challenge every week and it has really gotten us motivated to move more which is great.  What we would like to do is pick a different aspect to challenge each other on each week.  For example, one week we could challenge on most flights, next week do a water challenge, etc.  We do like the step challenge but there are other aspects of our trackers we want to challenge on too.  thanks!

First off the 5 challenge max is stupid and annoying because for whatever reason the app limits to me to 3 a week and says I have 5 already...

Also, I hate how the results for the week disappear before I know how the group did. Why isn't there a tab for results on the app or in the dashboard? It would be cool to see how we do week after week. Especially for us who compete against 20+ people a week!

Hello,

Could you please please please increase the challenge participant limit from 10-20? I work at a major IT company and a whole bunch of us threw out our jawbones and bought charges (all models) and one of the main reasons is the accuracy and the challenges. We loooooooooooove challenging eachother but now we have over 30 people in the US and CANADA (about 1/6th of our team) that have fitbits and we cannnot challenge eachother. When I can't join a challenge I dont even pay attention to step or anything. Please change this.

Every competition is step based but steps are not everyone's primary goal.  Can we have some new competition categories?

Examples of categories I would use:

  • Calories Burned
  • Active Minutes
  • Weight Lost

It would also be useful if we can set the length of the challenge.

I would love to see new challenges based on your local City / Country. Seeing how you compare against other Fitbitters in a weekly / monthly leaderboard challenge from the mobile app would be fantastic.

I have wanted more options for challenges for a while.

I agree with the comments above requesting more options for challenges, including the option to customize the dates and times, as well as the units (steps, miles, floors).

A friend and I came up with a challenge idea today we thought would be a great idea. We think there should be a "Last Man Standing" challenge for fitbit. The goal would be to meet your step goal (or in whichever unit you choose) everyday. If you miss a day, you drop out of the competition. The last person to make their daily goal consecutively wins!

Totally agree! I'm in a group of people who are all participating in a fitness program. A smaller group of us all have Fitbits, so we started a challenge. More people in the program were then inspired to get Fitbits, so they could be part of our daily challenges, but now we have to be in two separate groups on Fitbit (and rapidly approaching the need for three).

Hi!

Some challenege ideas I have are:

  • Creating the ability for a user to initiate a challenege and give the person inviting control to restrict who all joins (I'd like to do challeneges sometiems with certain people instead of havign everyone invited given the option to invtie who they want)
  • A work-week challenge that only is for the most steps during 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
  • A 7 day challenge that only counts most steps every second day to encourage rest days! Or perhaps count activity on off days to help those who cross-train
  • I'd be game for a sleep goal challenge
  • Is there a way adjust the goal day challenge so it stops counting when you reach 100 percent of your goal? I will join multiple types of challenges and some days reach 200 percent of my goal--with a new friend inviting me to do the goal challenge while I also do the 5 day hustle, I come across as mean (have been told so) for blowing them out of the water when really the intent of the challenge is to just meet your goal

The five challenges limit is very frusterating and does opposite of what Fitbit is supposed to be about, involving people in your quest to become healthy. Have to decline many invitations everyday. I see this thread was started in January and Fitbit has done nothing about it, maybe time to see if other company's have a better product.

I so agree. I have a huge following of challengers every week and weekend. I get together three groups of each. It makes it hard to get them started when you are having to wait for one to finish before one ends. I have people begging to get into the challenges and they fill up fast. I have been grouping them up by there abilities and they are having so much fun. I wish they would remove these restrictions. It has helped me so much in my progress. I am by no way as good as many of these people by I strive to do the best I can everyday because of their dedication.

I would love to see new challenges! I love taking part in challenges and get a little bored of the ones that are currently available!

I would like to see the ability to customize your own challenges (start times, end times, and goals). Or even at least have a new challenge that incorporates the entire week.

Such as a water challenge or sleep challenge or the other achievements.

Charge HR specific challenges would be awesome as well (e.g. Active Minutes, Least Dysfunctional Sleeper award)

I second, third, fourth, and fifth this! I have more than 10 people I'd like to include in my weekly challenges and I hate leaving people out. I know the competition would be much more fierce if we had more people in on the challenge - which  means more steps for everyone! I hope someone is working vigorously around the clock on a solution 🙂

VOTE ONE FOR ME! I would really LOVE the ability to create custom challenges.  Example: I want to walk to the moon. That's 238,855 miles away OR walk across the united state 3,987 miles.  These are really great for couples, work/team enhancement, and other random adventures one might want to know after they have walked 100,000 miles! The inputs of the challenge would look something along the lines of:

Miles/Steps in challenge:

Length Of challenge (hours,mins,days):

There is a group of us that particiapte in daily and workweek challenges. However, our group has exceeded more than 10 people and we are unable to all be in the same challenge since the challenges max out at 10. Is there a way to expand the number of participants in a challenge??

Yes! It's so sad when I can't add all my friends in a challenge.  So therefore I only add the top competitors. However, if I add all my friends, everyone will see how well we're all doing and it will motivate them to get their steps in!

This needs to happen, we have 15 people in the office and it is fracturing the group

Yes, more people! I'm so bummed every time I miss out my friends' Workweek Hustle challenges! They've kept us so motivated, and I love that competition with them all.
