Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

CARBS!  Smiley Happy

I'm diabetic, but even before becoming diabetic I was a CARB Counter.

Would love to see an option for CARBS.

Or, duh, is there already a way to do this and I just don't see it?

Thank you!

An increase to the amount of challenges would be fantastic!!!!

Nice idea. I was thinking similar. Maybes having drop down boxes with things you would like to add to your challenge, whether a simple one target challenge or multiple target challenge,

This... we need this.  more goal based challenges or customizable chalenges. And being able to see them inthe web interface would be nice too!

Keep up the great work.

I have only had my Charge HR for a week, but have found that I am already choosing step based activities that help my 'standing' in a challenge over the activities that will be more beneficial for may health. Please consider adding challenges that track active minutes as well as or instead of just steps.

Thank you!!

I think we all want more than 10 people And more than 5 challenges!

The 5 challenge limit, and challenges being full by the time one ends so I can accept a new one is soooo limiting. It's really annoying. Social fitness - challenging your friends and moving more is what fitbit is all about, so let us do it as much as we want!

As an active user of the group challenges you can set up, I'd like to see the following changes made to the challenges:
1. Customize the start and end times of challenges - sometimes the people I run challenges with are only performing a similar activity within a 2-3 hour time period, and it would be nice to see who would win in that period vs the entire day affecting the results. Plus it would push us all harder.
2. I wish you could attach photos to the challenge conversations. Would be a small, but great addition, especially with my brothers and dad.
3. In addition to customizing the challenges, I'd like to see more types of challenges - for example, most stair cases in a day, most calories burned in a day (although I know this one isn't as accurate, unless everyone participating has a heart rate monitor, which then again I don't know if the fitbit software even uses heart rate to detect calories), and maybe most distance traveled (again, would be great in a customized, smaller challenge window).

Thanks for the consideration.

I would really like to see more options in the challenges. Personally a Stair Climbing Challenge would be fun (I climb a lot of stairs in a day and I love to challenge myself to do more, but if I am in say a work week hustle challenge then I prefer to just walk because I can get more steps in).

I would like 15 people be allowed in challenges rather than just 10.

Also I would like to be able to have 10 open challenges rather than just 5... with time differences, and waiting on everyone to sync up at end of the challenge, they are still being counted as open and preventing you from joining new ones.  With 10, we could manage our challenges much better

I agree! I organize the challenges every week to have our big group ( now at  14 ppl) participate and compete, but we have to separate it into 2 groups as well. A recurring option would be perfect and save some time. More importantly it would be more exciting to add more than 10 users to the challenge. It would not only motivate our group to see everyone's steps but make it fun and competitive.

It would be great to be able to add more than 10 people to a challenge.  Everyone has more than 10 friends with a FitBit!!

I agree, more than 10 people and a 7-day challenge! but mostly I want to be able to be motivated with more than 10 people! Thanks

I agree.  Let's allow for recurring challenge (full week would be great) and more than 10 people per challenege.

Agreed!!

We started off just having a few people in our challenge. But over a short period of time, those few people have encouraged many more to join fitbit. Those that joined shortly after didnt need to see a commercial or read an article, they were persuaded from our "in office" marketing stragety.

Please allow for more than 10 people to per challenge so that we all can motivate and compete against one another. There could be many more to come.

A recurring challenge would be nice as well.

Thanks for your consideration.

Dear developers,

I teach at a school with 40+ other teachers, and more than a dozen of us have recently purchased fit bits. We are LOVING the competitive nature of the fit bit daily challenges, and many of us are moving and walking for the first time.

HOWEVER, we are disappointed that we can only include 10 participants maximum, and some teachers are getting shut out and having to create a 2nd challenge. Could we please have the option of more participants in the Daily Challenge? The more, the merrier!

I think it would be great to have customizable challenges.  There are a few of us who are always at the top end of the challenges and are looking for new ways to push ourselves.  I don't want using my fitbit to become boring, because it doesn't offer variations.

Yes! Would like to be able to create a custom group challenge!

I would also like to see custom challenges that you could create and play with friends or other fitbit members

It would be cool to have a setting too that shows people who are similar in activity to you. It can be depressing to be in a challenge with someone who can manage 20k steps a day when I can barely break 5k.

hi, I have been using my FITBIT for more than ; years and I love everything about it!!!! I recently started to use challenges and really do enjoy it Bc we can push each other with friends for better step goals. As FITBIT is getting more popular more of my friends are getting it and it is sad that I can add only 10. It would be great to do 15 or more in future ;). Is there any chance that we can have more than 10 people for challenge?

Would love to be able to do challenges with more than 10 people. There are more than 10 people in an online fitness group I'm a part of, we'd like to challenge each other.

@SunsetRunner - When I look at my friend's list on the website or when I was creating challanges, it gave you the average of steps so you could pick people close to your range if you wanted.

I love the motivation the different challenges offer, but why are we restricted to only 5 challenges?  I have a lot of fitbit friends and well enjoy the friendly competition.  Is it in the works to increase the number of challenges we can compete in at any given time?

Brifit4life added: another thing that would help is that we not have to wait for everyone else to finish syncing... then you can't join other groups because somebody sleepin in bed still lolol! That would be nice to somehow fix that... like maybe if you are done syncing you can join another and still be able to get notified in the end when the others have finished syncing and who won. So it doesn't hinder others from joining another challenge... since there are only 5

If you can respond to both of us that would be great.

Yes also step Challenges are great but I workout and get no credit. It would be great if we got side credit for workouts that way if our step were close like first place guy has 20,000 steps but no workouts. Second place guy has 17,000 and 10 workouts he would technically win because of his workouts!!! That would be sweet.
