Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

I have the same problem here. I have 13 friends who want to join the workweek hustle. But 3 of them get left out. I am encouraging a couple of my other friends to buy fitbit as well. So, I will have 15 users soon in a challege.

It would be great if you can at the very least raise the limit if it is not possible to make it unlimited.

No more challenge limits and also no limit on amount of people in the challenge.

Would love to see challenges based on metrics other than step count such as time spent in cardio zone, etc.

Let's go fitbit. Raise the number allowed per challenge. People feel left out. It can not be that difficult. Make it happen. I have only bought one fitbit. However, I have sold another 15 or 20 by spreading the word. Don't disappoint.

I currently part of 5 challenges, however all are not currently active. (One is set for this weekend) however I can't join anymore. If some one could have 5 active, shouldn't or allow me to have 5 active also and not count the one that won't start till Saturday?

To the Admin, or anyone in the know:

Is there any plan to add other challenge goals, such as those suggested above?  Some that have muliple variables may be hard to write the program for, but how about a challenge option for those items Fitbit already tracks (distance, stairs, active minutes, etc.)

I'm assuming (with my limited programing knowledge) it's almost as much work to add one new type of challenge as it is multiple.  Just wondering if it's on the horizon.

I agree, this would be amazing. I could really use some extra challenges instead of the same simple few that are there, especially when I'm constantly challenging on a daily basis. You should also make it so your app can be seen in the notification Center, so I know how many steps I need.

Can we have Challenges to be enabled for more than 10 users.  The bigger the group, the merrier ..  Challenges are easier to connect with in Mobile apps... More in friends and family circle will be motivated to connect with fitbit..

Raise the number allowed per challenge. Let me create challenges.

YES Please vote to increase the # of challenges and the # of participants.  I miss out on many many many challenges because I'm already in 5 per week. I have over 150 friends that help keep me motivated and it's quite discouraging to not be able to accept the challenges.

I really hope that FitBit has plans to increase the challenges from a Max of 5 even at a premium cost. I'm willing to pay because I'm getting mega results just competing against people.

You should be able to customize the challenges.  Anything fitbit already tracks (steps, stairs, heart rate, active minutes) etc. should allow you to create a challenge with.  If people don't want to give that info (if someone did a weight challenge, for example), they can always decline.

Additionally, you should be able to change the time parameters.  Whether you want weekly (now it's week or weekend) or even monthly.  They are so motivating, that I imagine a month-long challenge would be awesome!

COMPLETELY AGREE! Having just four challenge options is pathetic. One of the reasons people like using Fitbit is that there is such a social community built around this ecosystem. Fitbit should give us more options to gamify fitness and allow us to compete for better health.

Yes.  I wish challenges were more flexible.  We bought Fitbits for our parents who are 83.  They cannot do 10,000 steps a day.  A good goa is 5000 now and maybe 6000 in the future.   As a family, we would like to include them in weekly challenges, but we cannot.    It would be good if they met their daily persona goal of 6000 while the children/grandchildren had to meet 10,000 per day.

Hi,

I have a large group of co-workers (20+) that like to participate in challenges each week. It would be nice if we did not have to divide the group every week to engage in our challenges. We all decided to purchase this as a group and we would like to continue to use it as a group.

From what I can see is we'd just need to remove the number limitation, add some scrolling functionality, and tweak notifications.

Thank you.

I having more than 10 people will increase the competition in the challenges. Please the ability to add more people as well as more challenges...water challenge, weight goal, etc

I agree, I think there should be more than 10 people in a challenge and I think you should be able to get a badge for challenges won and they should increase like the miles. For example, won a workweek hustle, then won 5 workweek hustle...the same for each challenge. You should also be able to name your challenge. Someone suggested a flag, but there are different time zones right in the US so maybe some other way to let determine time zones.

Yes, I want to be able to compare active minutes, not just steps. The Workweek Hustles are awesome, but I'm getting compared to folks who walk in place while walking television, whereas I walk to work and work out at the gym nearly daily.

A few of my fitbit friends and I would love if there were active fitness challenges! A little more motivation to not just take more steps but get your heart rate up too.

I agree!!!  We should be able to invite as many as we want!  Why is it a 10 person limit?  If that is the case, we should get more than 5 challenges allowed at one time.

I agree to these suggestions to increase the numbers to more than 5 and 10!!! It wouldn't hurt anyone to raise the limits! I have so many fit bit friends it would be really cool to have an unlimited number of people in a challenge for fun
