More Challenges and Adventures

I would love to have a challenge where people's goal is to win their next stepping badge.I thing that would really make people move!

How about an Everest Challenge, or Inca Trail Challenge.    The could be distance options and well as incline (measured by how many flights of stairs have been taken).

Agreed. It doesn't have to be all fancy. I don't look at my phone while I'm
walking anyway. Appalachian Trail...Great Wall of China, etc.

Please add my vote to get more challenges for all of us to enjoy.  I'm a huge fan of the trail walks, not so much the city.  Maybe something like walk the great wall or something different.

Dear Fitbit - I love my Fitbit Alta!  And I love doing the challenges, but there are not enough of them.  I have completed all the challenges and want more.  I actually find that I walk more to get to my destinations and to earn more "treasures."  Please, Fitbit, more Challenges!

What's taking Fitbit so long? All you need is a couple pano's and a map tracker... makes me want to make a couple myself. I'll start with Gorge of the Dead on Crete.

It would be good to have swim adventures added. like swimming the English channel or other open water swims.

I wish you would add more solo challenges.  I loved the Yosemite ones.  How about Zion, Bryce, or Arches National Parks?

After all of the requests for additional badges, I can only think that Fitbit doesn't believe in their product enough to make it happen. Do you at fitbit HQ think we are just going to stop walking/running when we hit the earth badge (don't get me started on how poorly named this badge is..)? I won't, but I can tell you that the motivational badges and friend support/competition are the main reasons I invested in the device. If there are no more badges to work toward, then the problems with the trackers (band, syncing, battery and so on) are enough to go to a different vendor. You guys really need to extend the badge category ASAP and put enough new milestones to support the large number of folks who have gone into the 20K-30K or more miles and greater than 20K life time floors ect. Corporate needs to step up and push this or you will be not be seeing more of my money in about 2000 miles.

Hey, there are amazing suggestions! Just wanted to point you in the direction of these duplicate ideas:

- Active minutes challenges

- Floor climbed challenges

- Distance traveled challenges

- Calories challenges

Please leave your future comments and votes in the feature request mentioned above. This will make it easier for our product team to notice them.

Thanks for your understanding! Woman Wink

Is it possible to have more than the challenges that are currently on fitbit charge 2, there are only four main ones that you can use to compete with other people and my sister and  I have done these so it is really boring to do them again.  Is it not possible to load up things like the London marathon route, the great wall of china etc.  so that we have many more challenges. With the amount of data and google earth maps etc. that are available through technology this should not be too difficult to achieve.

Would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

You should definitely partner with all the national parks. It would be mutually beneficial for both of you.

Making the adventure or challenge will take Fitbit time energy and money.  e.g   Pay a photographer, or copywrite charges for the photos.

Why not enable the users to create their own adventures or challenges?   We all have the equipment to do it, a step counter, a tracking GPS, and a camera, they're all in the Fitbit and the phone. For example, being from Liverpool, I would walk around Liverpool UK, visiting the Beatles childhood homes, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, the ferry, Liver Buildings and other landmarks and take photos.   I could then upload the GPS track and the photos.    Fitbit could approve/disapprove the adventure and upload it for others to enjoy.

Fitbit then get a adventures / challenges and the users are creating them.

My Fitbit friends and I love the Group Adventures but we like to to see more of them. We really enjoy the longer ones and we are hoping that more adventures are in the works. How about some long hikes like The Pacific Crest trail??  Or a hike about  around Australia??  A US open challenge round - 72 holes @ Pebble Beach??

Just went to Disney with family from OH, we are from MN.  I thought an Adventure walking through the parks at Disney with photo galleries to bring you there would be amazing.  Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom.  Countries around the lake at Epcot, with individual galleries for each country.  Fireworks at each park.  Lots of opportunities to make this magical place accessible without having to go there.  Love the various trail ideas posted.  The Great Wall would be awesome.  But I think Disney would be something different than a hiking trail.  Definitely need more Adventures in general would be wonderful.

I was just going to say, Disney only works if they partner WITH Disney (which would mean it would basically be a commercial for Disney. But still, if it was interactive and fun I don't think I'd mind. ). 😊

Please include UK challenges. London in particular would be great

I love this, since it isnt one of those measly 20 mile Challenges.

There are amazing trails all over the world.  Please just pick some and add them.  Let us level up and and earn them.  More adventures.  Please,  please,  please.

I initiated a challenge, only to find that someone I invited took the liberty to invite others to the same challenge. This was frustrating since it made for no more room for those that I invited to my challenge. Please allow those initiating challenges to specify whether they want invitees to be able to invite others or not.  When I initiate a challenge, I would prefer not to allow invitees to invite others so I can have room for those I invited.

Same here! Or open it to allow more than 10 people!

Suggest to have more than the 4 walking track competitions you can have with your friends. More countries and distances.

The same 4 gets repetitive

More challenges would be nice .

Agreed. The person who initiates the challenge should be the only one that can invite others. It only makes sense. The last thing I want to do is compete against people I don’t even know. Also, if you just wanted to challenge friends at    a similar daily step count, allowing others to pick participants defeats the purpose and may ruin the fun.

I really like the challenges but have done some of them 14 times!  Would be good to have some different ones.
