More Challenges and Adventures

I would love to have a challenge where people's goal is to win their next stepping badge.I thing that would really make people move!

So many ideas and. It one had been added to fitbit app. I hope to see more challenges and something new

Just switched from apple watch(3) to Fitbit Versa.  The reason is due to reasonable price of Versa and challenges.  Have since got Versa for 2 other family members.  Love the challenge- great for geography dispersed people to keep in touch.  Please add more to make this feature even better.

Could you not have challenges for cycling and swimming.  Such as some popular cycle routes part of the big divide.  For swims you could do certain lakes or the channel.  Will there ever be an option for people

in the community to create their own chalenges like on endomondo.

They have responded with pulling down challenges. I respond with not buying
a brand new fitbit this year. Right now I do the Appalachian Trail on
walking4fun and am using my ebay fitbit blaze till it doesn't work anymore.

I have been with fitbit for quite a long time now, and I haven't seen any new challenges ever. They are getting quite monotonous, will there been some new challenges coming up to add a little variety?

Hi @SkyeletS thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. Don't forget to add your vote!

I would love to see a variety of challenges. I do love the challenges but agree that it can easily get boring and some users may lose interest. Come up with ways that we can create our own challenges based on all of the goals we set. Way cool would be to link it to actual maps we are familiar with, too!

I am also rather shocked by the lack of action from Got it with the high number of votes and comments over an extended period of time..

More challenges please. I miss the New York ones.

@Fitbit please do a Christmas challenge to motivate ppl on Christmas Day and create a Christmas badge and just more badges in general.

This will be my last post on the issue. Those of you waiting for a meaningful response from Fitbit are wasting your time. Fitbit would be better to remove this community forum altogether than put on the pretense that they care what any of us have to say. Adios, Fitbit.

I think IFTTT and external app developers arevour answer.

It's the same with the badges..Absolutely zero effort to add more badges for those of us getting to the last stage of flights, total miles, ect..I'm pretty sure the charge 5 is in the works though...Again, I highly recommend walking4fun.com..excellent motivational site. E

I would like Fitbit to provide Challenges that are distance based instead of step based. The thing is that some of the members of my family have different stride length which makes it unfair for some of the people that have longer tread to compete with them. A distance option would be nice

Distance than doesn't sound fair a shorter person will need to take a lot more steps than a taller person.

BTW adventures are distance based

Just to be clear, Fitbit ignores these forums and suggestions. They are the
least customer-centric tech company of them all. They prefer to blunder
around in the dark throwing rocks in the dark rather than actually
listening to what features we want and delivering. Their latest genius move
was "Fitbit Coach" which expects us to pay attention to a teeny tiny coach
in our watch while were working out. Yeah thanks.

For the record, I gave up on Fitbit months ago and switched to Apple Watch. The failure to add any new challenges ultimately promoted me to switch to more a useful wearable.

So the original poster commented in 2014.

It's now 2019.

Im guessing new/different/worldwide/literally any other walks for solo challenges, are not gonna happen...

jgarlits

Correct. They dont even moderate these forums anymore. They don't care about us or what we want.

Suggest that you look at Stridekick. It has over 100 distance challenges and pulls data from Fitbit/apple/garment etc

@Simonfh might be ok if there is a group of 50-100 but at 200USD a month it is rather expensive.

i think Fitbit doesn’t want to make the effort in improving their app. They seem to just want to sell the next device. Half of them people that actually response to you on these forms aren’t even Fitbit employees. I am still trying to find out why they got rid of the New York adventures ,and it’s like talking to a brick wall because they don’t provide you with an actual answer.

How is it that after 4+ years and 14 pages that there are only a few people who are asking for more adventures and challenged

I've seen some suggestions get 1600 votes within 2 months with one suggesting having 5 individual threads added within a 10 minute period we combined 180 of these individual threads into one.

My thought would be to put a link to this Suggestion and get active in the lifestyle boards

Let's get this Suggestion advertised.

@Simonfh just installed it to see what its about and it wont connect. Tried a few times now and its "having trouble connecting"

I can see there are free challenges but £200 a month for others? Wowzer. No.
