Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Yes, exactly!
I uninstalled/reinstalled with no improvement. There's a way to get tech
support, but you have to hunt for it, and I don't have time for that today.
I'll be hunting for a different food log app instead.

there are 2 threads on this, all related to having issue logging the food. What Glen248Cook experienced matches exactly what the other thread describes. I posted on the other thread too. It seem some people on this thread were not able to add at all.

Interesting that all of these posts are happening today as I have the same issue.

Could this be a problem with google servers?

This problem has started for me, some time between 3pm and 6pm today.  Frustrating issues with the app recently. 🤬 I have tried all the usual things, logging out, clear cache, restarting phone etc

I am having the same issue today too. I try to log in my food and it lasts a second or two and then disappears and is not calculating. I have tried turning off my phone, deleting/reinstalling my app, clearing the storage, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Same problem, just started at lunchtime. My app is on Android and is version 4.57 so it's not the recent update 4.58

Me too, when I add several items for my dinner the ones already there are replaced with my update. Tried adding all foods items at the same time but still not retaining the log so my calorie count is incorrect.  It was working fine up until lunch time. I am on the latest version, tried deleting & downloading the app but no joy.

I am not able to log any food in the app. The app's up to date and I've tried logging out and restarting my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it work?

When I enter foods (ones I have added before) They disappear from the log.

I cleared the data and cache from the app but it did not work.

I have the most up-to-date version of the app.

I use android.

Same issues on iOS.  These folks need to get it together in QA department for these development upgrades.

Today when I enter food it shows for a few seconds and then vanishes. Have reinstalled, logged out, force stopped and all the usual suspects and Nadal.  Any ideas?

Mine is not logging the food either. It logs it then erases it about 5 seconds after. Restarting doesn’t help.

Hello, I am having this problem just starting today. I cannot add new foods to today. They will show as though they are added but then disappear when I add a second item or when I leave the food log area of the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared cache and storage, restarted phone, and I have no current updates to perform.

Same. Trying to log my breakfast, but every time I log one food, it replaces the one I logged before it. Then after a few seconds it disappears completely.

I am having the exact same issue. I rely heavily on the Fitbit app to track my heart rate and calories burned and the food that I've eaten. I am so sick and tired of this app messing up every other day and having to log out, then log back in, and when that doesn't work completely uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Google needs to get their crap together and figure this out because we didn't have any issues before and now they are happening all the time.
