Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

I am not sure how to do what you are suggesting. Can you send more
specific information, step by step, to follow. Please and Thank you.

My Fitbit hasn’t been able to add custom foods for over a month now (at least)… It’s still a problem. I’m using the Fitbit app on my iPhone. Everything is updated. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Restarted my phone… I see that some other people have had the issue fixed. Any other advice?

It appears to be resolved now.  
What I did:

 1.  Deleted the app (from my iPhone)  

2.  Turned my phone off, then turned it back on  

3.  Reloaded the app

I did the same with my android and I also forgot it in Bluetooth, just to
make sure it was a complete fresh start.

I'm glad to read that the issue has been solved for some of you, 

Please if you haven't done so yet, please try the following:

Log out from the Fitbit app.
Uninstall the Fitbit App .

Restart your phone/ mobile device. (off/on) 
Reinstall the Fitbit app and try to log any food again. 

If the issue still persists, please comment below and let us know the phone model and it's operating system. (eg. iPhone 14 iOS 18.1, Pixel Phone 7 Android 15, etc)

Did all of that (again) and I still can’t add new custom foods. iPhone 13 iOS 18.6.2 (22G100)

Do you not have the drop down for serving sizes? Last I checked, it is still there.

Yes, that is there, but every time I try to add a custom food and then enter it, it never shows up in my food log or the list of custom foods…

It sounds like from some of the previous posts it's not fixed everybody's
set up. They are asking for details of each individual who is having a
problem, so that they can help. I'm sorry that I have not been able to help
you.

The app is constantly frustrating for one thing or another. But this
particular one (custom food etc) is working for me. Although I have had
several different issues throughout the year. Let's hope 2026 is a better
one for the app.

The serving size drop down started working again yesterday. Are you able to add your custom foods?

I never had a problem with the serving size drop-down menu. It is just every time I try to put in a custom food, I enter all the information, click on saving it, and it sends me to the food log page which I then tried to log and afterwards there’s absolutely nothing there.
