Too little, too late.
This is the best solution if you still have your metal strip and out of warranty.

Hi, I used E6000, avoiding the metal pin. So far so good. I found my battery life very reduced when missing one plate.

I bought from an unauthorized reseller, so I'm out of luck. Seems like a design flaw should be covered anyway, but there you go.

The bottom metal piece came off my sense 2. Google support couldn't help and told me to buy a new one. My watch isn't even a year old. What options do I have?? I purchased the watch through amazon.

I was able to contact customer support and they are replacing mine, but just the watch part itself, no other components, like the bands and charger. However, I did buy mine through the Fitbit website. If you purchased yours through Amazon, Amazon might be able to warranty it for you.

I had one of the metal pieces from the back of my Sense 2 this week. It's out of warranty, so I don't know what options I have.
Bought it from fitbit.com in October 2022, shortly after the sense 2 launched.

I contacted them. They said they couldn't help me because its not a pixel watch. Gave a 35% discount for a new watch. Which is the same price currently being offered in their store. I feel I have no choice with fitbit anymore because Google isn't supporting it.

Does anyone know what these pieces do? My watch seems to be working fine without them. Are they needed?

Same thing just happened to me! I was wearing the watch and it just fell off while wearing it! What do you do to get a support team message started?

Just had the same thing happen to me, even though overall the device seems to still work ok...but it is ridiculous that warranty is 1 year for a fitness device and these issues always seem to crop up around 2 years of use...

Sorry this has happened. Linda and I really enjoy our Fitbit apps and it helps keep us fit . Like you - we go way back with our fitbits . I use a Garmin mounted on my bikes for biking stats but get my health stats at the same time from my Sense 2 . I have talked several times to a repair shop - Joes in Washington State . They are sending me a glue they recommend for the Sense 2 that I have no warranty on ( from Marketplace ) and instructions I will be able to pass on . They don’t have the metal pieces but they are on the lookout. As seen in the photo, I do have a good Sense 2 bought from Fitbit with a 35% off to replace my original Sense . I bought an extra year warranty from google .

This just happened to me today as well! I happened to notice that it was sitting against my skin when I moved my Fitbit away from my wrist. I’ve had this Fitbit for a couple years, but I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do about this. I have never once worn this Fitbit in water. Can anyone help?
