Hi there,
Our team has released the new Fitbit iOS App 3.43 version and it should be available for all of you. Please make sure to download it from the App store as this will resolve the battery short life issues experienced on your Sense. Take in mind that this and future Fitbit app versions will require iOS 13.4+.
Hi everyone. Thanks for your continued reports.
Our team is aware of the Sense not holding charge when syncing with iOS devices and they're working to bring a fix as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend force quitting the Fitbit app on your iOS devices to prevent the battery from draining when syncing.
I've moved your posts to this thread so we can keep our team informed of this situation. Your patience is truly appreciated and please know your feedback hasn't gone unnoticed.
See you around.

Same issues as everyone else... bizarrely when I do the factory reset the battery drain goes back to normal (hurrah!)... right up until I need to recharge it, after which it then goes back to the losing 10% charge an hour.... And all after the last IoS update was installed (with "additional features" - none of which I asked for, including the draining of the battery!).
Bluetooth switch off works (still drains faster than previously for some reason), but that is not why I spent £XXX on a smart watch just to switch off the features I bought it for (which appears to have been some of the early advise from Fitbit.
Please.... allow us the opportunity to revert back to the software prior to the latest update...

I would like to log that I’m now having this issue too, it started randomly a couple of days ago and as far as I’m aware I’ve done nothing different to either my sense or my phone. It’s most frustrating, I’m not a happy customer.

Is there any time line on this development. It is very disappointing. At the moment other than steps, I have every thing turned off. If not fixed in a reasonable time, is there a return policy being worked on?

Not seeing that option on the APP Store. Only option is to open, I guess
that's because I have the latest build already

My phone and all settings are the same. Battery drain and syncing issues are all working well for me also. I have to think that some Sense devices have different hardware. If all app software is updated and the Sense firmware is updated all should work the same.

Same here, updated Sense this morning at around 0430HRS with 80% charge, its now 1839HRS with 60% remaining charge.
Used run exercise for 1 hour with GPS enable. All other functions unchanged before and after update.
Makes one truly wonder where the disconnect could be with this latest firmware update.
Interesting that no information was disclosed on the update whether HR issues have been addressed for those folks asserting inaccurate heart rates.
Transparency on Google's behalf would certainly be appreciated.

I am so disappointed in my Sense, I bought it especially for the oxygen tracking and because it dies Every Night I do get a reading!! Beyond fed up.

On the App Store, look up Fitbit, and then click on the App (and not the button that says Open) - this takes you to the Fitbit App download screen, and magically the button has now changed from "open" to "update"....
I am crossing fingers etc. but I have updated and my battery has now lost only 2% in 4 hours (when it was losing 10% an hour previously!)....

Yeah I did the update last night and now my sense battery is draining. Went from 100 percent to 20 percent overnight and did not track my sleep.

I’ve updated both my app (which annoyingly didn’t come up as it should have done, I had to search in the App Store) and iOS today, I’m hoping that this solves the issue for me.

Same with my sense. Gone from 100% to 11% in 8 hours since doing the iOS update. Also have problems syncing it. Not happy as sense only 9 months and LD and certainly not cheap 😡😡
