I am so disappointed in this. I bought the Apple Watch and was not totally sure I would like it with all the apps and such. So I took it back and went with the Sense. Now I am thinking I made a huge mistake. I had the fitbit HR2 and absolutely loved it. I was ready to upgrade. Well I am thinking this was a bad idea. My sense will not stay connected to my Iphone. for whatever reason it always loses connection with the fitbit controls, so no notifications. Then I am so disappointed that in order for me to get music on my watch, I have to pay for another subscription. I already have Amazon and I have a huge library on itunes, so I really do not have a need for a music subscription. Are there any fixes for these issues yet?

Best AnswerMost folks who purchase a Fitbit Sense are tech savvy and there's always a learning curve with anything new. But it should be obvious we've tried multiple approaches and ways to solve this issue, including the phone Bluetooth screen. I've navigated through every avenue possible with no joy. IMHO the Sense is a loser.
that why the units wont display units correctly as well because the sense controls are indeed connected when it says that it has lost connection? I have tried to re-sync, re-pair, ect. when I get a phone call sometimes it will show up on the fitbit, sometimes it wont, or it will vibrate but not show the call, yesterday things were working correctly today they are not, at all.
Best AnswerHi, @tattooedsteven, welcome, you may find this article of interest How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? I also suggest you ensure all the permissions are allowed in your phone Fitbit app and that any battery-saving functions on your phone are disabled for the Fitbit app.
I hope this helps.

Best AnswerI don’t have issues with receiving calls and text messages, but I can’t ever get the find my phone feature to work unless I redo everything to have the controls connected. Do you know if there’s a way to fix that issue? Also, am I not able to respond to text through my watch? I currently can only see them and need to grab my phone if I need to respond. Thanks for your help.
Best AnswerHi, @KalinaC, both of your questions may have the same root. The functions are dependent on the Bluetooth working constantly in the background. As suggested in my earlier post make sure your Fitbit App has all permissions granted and any battery-saving function in your phone is disabled for the Fitbit App.

Best AnswerI have the same issue. And I see Fitbit response saying it doesn’t matter calls will come through. I don’t care about calls I bought the sense cause I need texts to come through and they won’t. I am so disappointed with this upgrade from my other Fitbit and I will probably be done with Fitbit now.
Best AnswerHi, @jennyo238, welcome, in addition to my earlier link about notifications you may be interested in How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit device? You should also ensure you do not have "Do not disturb" or sleep engaged (in quiet modes on your Sense) as both of these functions disable notifications among other things.
Cheers

Best AnswerDid you ever find a solution for this problem?
Best AnswerNope. tried all the various suggestions to fix. It used to work occasionally, not not at all. Very disappointed. Been a fit bit user for years. Ready to swith to Apple or Garmin at this point.
I too am having issues since I switched to the sense from the versa. I’m over it. I have to constantly turn off and back on either my phone or the watch to get it to sync. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, factory reset etc. I’ve had a Fitbit of some sort for about 9 years. Time to check into Apple
I'm sorry to hear you're having the same problem. I spoke with fitbit 3 times and everytime they said they would have to look into the issue and email me back. I never got a response so I returned my watch and got a galaxy watch and I'm very happy I did. It does so much more for the price and actually works.
Best AnswerI’m not having any issues. It was resolved a long time ago. No need to get replies on this. It can be deleted if possible.
thanks

Phone manufacturers like Apple, and app and product designers like Fitbit, will or should tell you, your phone is not designed to keeps closing your apps and this saves the battery. If your Fitbit app remains open, your Sense Controls stay synced, and Alexa stays connected (or Google Assistant). When you close your app, it disconnects or unsyncs. While Fitbit could easily resolve this issue, I believe the company wants to keep you engaged with their product app to maximize your experience! Sorry to be the bearer of good news, but your Fitbit is behaving just as designed and it is working correctly.

@ChristyGSLP Have you turns on the setting for "Always vibrate" in the Fitbit app? I didn't realize that the Sense goes by the phones notification settings so when on mute or do not disturb it wasn't going off. Turning on "Always vibrate" solved my notification issue.
