Sense stopped recording skin temperature

My Sense stopped recording my temperature two nights in a row. I’ve restarted it, and checked to see if there was an update, but everything is up to date. I’m not sure why it suddenly stopped recording. Any advice?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and your efforts while working on this matter. I'm sorry you're having this experience and to investigate on my end, please provide me with the following.

  • Is your data not appearing on the Temperature tile? Or is the issue with the Health Metrics tile?
  • Are you getting the rest of your Health Metrics data correctly?
  • Is your Sense syncing correctly?
  • May I know the model and OS version of your phone?
  • Do you have the Fitbit app updated?

This is mine too. Worked fine until 2 days ago. I'm a premium member too. Not going to keep paying for something that doesn't work

No temperature data in either tile. Other data in health metrics seems fine though.

 

Fitbit updated automatically version 44.128.6. 12 on my phone on March 15th.

 

My phone is huawei p20 Software EMUI 10.0.0.190.

My temp isn't appearing on the temperature tile and the health metrics tile. Hoping fitbit can resolve it as it looks like many members have the same issue

  1. My temperature is not showing in the Health Metrics tile. I added the temperature tile just to see and it's not there either
  2. My other Health Metrics are (presumably) correct, but the Blood Oxygen appears a few hours after the rest of the data (i.e. Breathing Rate, HR variability, etc.). The Blood Oxygen issue is not related - it has been going on for weeks and does appear within a couple of hours.
  3. Yes, syncing correctly

I'm getting the rest of the data in the health metrics tile

My Sense is syncing correctly with all of the other data

I have a Pixel 6Pro - Android 12

I have updated the app.

  • Skin temperature data is not showing in either the Temperature tile and the Health metrics.  ITs been out for 3 days
  • All other metrics appear fine, however SPo2 is 24 hours delayed and has been for months.
  • Yes, the sense is syncing ok as far as i can tell
  • Samsung S20FE 5G, One Ui version 4.0, Android 12
  • Fitbit APP and Sense completely up to date

My data isn’t appearing in the health metrics tile or the skin temp tile. 

The rest of my health metrics information is showing up correctly.  

My sense is syncing fine. 

I have an iPhone Xs and OS is 15.4. My Fitbit app is updated.

As others, I have missing temperature data for 3 nights.  It’s missing from both the temperature tile and the Health Metrics tile.
All of the other Health Metrics data is there.

My Sense does sync appropriately.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max; iOS 15.3.1; and my Fitbit Sense is updated.

Same issue with mine, tried restarting it today to no avail. Just synched manually using my phone and the daily metrics on my Fitbit reset to zero, the app still shows the correct count. Definitely acting fishy for the last 3 days.

Likewise, no data for 3 nights in a row now.  2 days ago I had issues with the SpO2 not recorded and the sleep data was messed up.

I wonder if Fitbit reps even care that they've got a bad product and not trying to fix it or make people happy.   Happy in that it actually does what it says it does!

Two days ago the skin temp feature stopped working. The app is up to date and I’ve logged off and back in to no avail. Any other ideas?

Hi Lizzy. Thank you. Just to clarify, the temp is missing from the tile and metrics. I did a factory reset and a complete uninstall then reinstall so all onboard firmware and app software are current. Android Galaxy 22 Ultra, released Feb 28, 2022. The sense is otherwise syncing correctly, although I do note there is a slightly lower heart rate bias on the Fitbit since this issue occurred. Previously the heart rate tracked identically with Kardia Mobile which was remarkable as that device is FDA approved..This has been true for years. Now the Fitbit has a consistently lower bias by ~10bpm. It also fails to capture the peak heart rate in the daily graph despite caching it in the actual exercise tile. I did not note these issues prior to the last software and firmware updates. This may be anecdotal.

Same happend here... I use Sense over 9 months and tuesday 22.3.2022 last working skin temperature day. wednesday no data, thursday no data ext.

 

Sync work, Healt Metrics: no data others data work.

Same here. Premium member but stopped working over the last 3 days, since tuesday.  Have tried everything suggested. 

Thing is, it has worked every day since start back in Oct 2020, every day until 3 days ago when a lot of people are reporting the same thing.
