Yesterday the thread was closed as apparently this issue has been resolved but not for me!! Very frustrating and disappointing considering the cost to me for buying 2 of these watches (myself and wife). My iPhone app has not updated, it still shows NO DATA for SpO2. I have deleted the app twice and reinstalled it. So for Fitbit to close discussion on this is rubbish. Seriously considering returning both watches now 😞

Still no data for these 2 items. And have tried every reboot and reinstall option.

The Sp02 graph in Health Metrics continues to show a lag of one day even though there is reading for TODAY on the Sense watch.

Best update I can find is 3.44 which is already a few days old.
If you have a newer one, where did you get it?

Even with the updated version or latest version of the app, my SPO2 graph in Health Metrics is still lagging by a day, and like @GeraldB88, there is reading on Today's on Sense.
Looks like nothing really have been solved....either that, or GeraldB88 and my Sense needs a free replacement haha
3.44 is the latest version

I have Firmware Version 44.128.5.38. I can't tell where to find the update number.
Nevermind, I just found it. I have 3.44 as well.

@GeraldB88 @Sparhawk69 If the value on the watch is for today, then there is most likely a glitch with the cache in the Fitbit App.
Try
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit shutdown [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |
Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo all notification and any special setups. |
Yours is a different problem to the thread that was closed.
Have you restarted the watch and is it syncing properly?
Is the SpO2 showing in the Today app on the watch by midday?
This will help isolate the source of the problem.

@Guy_ I have doe this before, clear cache, force stop, log back in, log off, uninstall, reinstall, shut down/reboot sense, etc, but SPO2 is always lagging by a day.

@Sparhawk69 Does it lag on both watch Today App and health metrics?
In what timezone are you? Antarctica perhaps!
Have you checked to see if your phone is connecting to the internet well.
The values have to be uploaded to the Fitbit servers, calculated and downloaded. It takes quite a while.
It seems very strange, have you spoken with Fitbit support about it?

Hi, I have a problem with SpO2 data in Fitbit App.
When I sync Sense on the Fitbit app, SpO2 data on Health Metrics show "No Data" but it's not every time.
Some days it's show data, some days it does not show data. I don't know why?
How can I fix it?
SpO2 data show "No Data"

Unfortunately the system isn't very reliable.
More than likely this is a Fitbit server processing problem, am missing the same night, but it generally works most nights for me.
Because there is only one value its not possible to see where the problem is exactly.
Whether you get a result is based more on luck. It seems fairly random for many people. Which is a shame as it eats the battery during the night and then you don't even get any result!
There is nothing much you can do about it, as long as you are getting more than 3 hours good sleep.
If it continues probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

There is no glitch, it's a bug present since long ago and that fitbit is not acknowledging.

For the past 2 days it was not updating the graph on the app, I cleared the cache today and force stopped the app. I re-opened the app and clicked the Oxygen saturation data on the watch, it stated it was not communicating with the phone. I clicked the open button at the bottom of the O2 screen (watch) although it was greyed out. All of a sudden the app updated...not sure but the O2 syncing has a lot of issues especially what we have been seeing the last month or so. I love how the Fitbit app/watch has helped me with my health but it also brings quite a bit of frustration and it should not.

Hi everyone and thanks for participating in the Community.
I've moved your posts to this new thread to keep the forums organized and our team informed of this situation. Thanks for the screenshots provided, as well as the steps tried prior to posting. I'm sorry the SpO2 data isn't syncing or updated correctly in the Fitbit app, despite of having this data displayed on your Sense. I understand where you're coming from about not being able to take advantage of this feature, please know this feedback hasn't gone unnoticed and will be passed along.
Because this issue shouldn't keep happening, please reply back with the following information which will help me to investigate on my end what may be occurring:
See you around.

Hi Lizzy,
My app version is 3.44.
I am using a Samsung S8+.
I am missing SPO2 for Monday and Tuesday.
I am missing HRV for Saturday and Sunday, but it is there for Monday and Tuesday.
All other values (RHR, Skin Temp, and BR) show up on all days.
Thank you for your time in looking into this for us.

They have closed my posts many times on other threads saying the matter has been resolved which is rubbish. They can’t and HAVE NOT fixed it and is probably too embarrassed to let the thread grow too big 🤔

The problem is not the watch because it is showing Sp02 reading for the correct day. It’s the way this data is processed at Fitbit and received back by the App that is faulty.

Everything is syncing and all the other health metrics are up to date. But not Sp02. Both the watch and App is the latest version 😊

Australia. Fitbit has acknowledged there is a problem before about this back in March 🙄
