SpO2 data still not syncing to the Fitbit App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday the thread was closed as apparently this issue has been resolved but not for me!! Very frustrating and disappointing considering the cost to me for buying 2 of these watches (myself and wife). My iPhone app has not updated, it still shows NO DATA for SpO2. I have deleted the app twice and reinstalled it. So for Fitbit to close discussion on this is rubbish. Seriously considering returning both watches now 😞

@Greyhoundfun- Most probably not a defective watch, I didn't get any SpO2 reading last night either. The Fitbit service is very flaky, they must have enormous problems with their servers for it to be so erratic.

It's interesting that you did not receive a reading last night either.  Fitbit has problems then.  This has been happening weekly for me for the past month and a half at least.  All my other data recorded fine.

Its surely them - didn't get a reading on the 5th either.

It used to show up in the Today app on the watch but its not doing that either.

Which probably means they have even more problems than before!

Unfortunately there is no way to know if measurements were taken or not, nor why it is not showing for the night in question.

I got sent out a replacement Fitbit Sense after raising this as an issue with support as well as all the other bugs. I have very little faith that a new Fitbit Sense will solve the problems but will roadtest this weekend coming up.

What is absurd is I can get an SpO2 reading from my $38 Umidigi Ufit watch in about 10 seconds whenever I want, and Fitbit think that providing one paltry figure only for a night if they deign to send it occasionally when they feel like, is sufficient.

It doesn't even come close to being acceptable, or even useful, more of a headache.

Not to mention I have never had a single problem with the Ufit. Installed the App [which is simple but useful] connected it to the device and its worked fine ever since. Never needed any support as it works.

Heart rate always gives a good reading [with graph on the watch] and it can also extrapolate blood pressure too, and the battery, it lasts a month!

Unfortunately Fitbit is SO far off the mark with the Sense, at nearly 10 times the price. It's more like a very expensive temperamental gimmick toy which needs constant fixing.

My last day of not receiving the data was the 6th, I almost thought it matched your date of the 5th.  Each night I do not receive the SpO2 reading I still get the oxygen chart with my sleep data.  I would assume that means it is still reading the oxygen all night, it just decides not to calculate a percentage that night.

5th/6th may be same day when time zones are applied.

Not sure but sleep and estimated oxygen variation always appears for me and is probably processed differently.

I am missing multiple days of SpO2 data in the app. It looks like the data is on the watch, except for last night.

SpO2 quit showing in Health Metrics in the app.. Fitbit Sense and Android phone... in the Metrics app it says to download the SPO2 App, I have this downloaded and all permissions granted.  I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and reset my fitbit.  Still no luck.  It worked ok till just over a week ago.  I had this problem once before and reinstalling the SPO2 app fixed it...  O2 shows on my clock face and also on Today on my Sense, just not in Metrics in the phone app.

Any suggestions?  My wife has a Versa 3 and hers is working good.

Thanks for any help.

The problem is Health Metrics is not very reliable, it frequently doesn't work at times, or it takes a long time to display the information.

If it is saying download the clockface or app, this problem was supposed to have been fixed.

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

As I have reported this problem. SpO2 on Sense is working. It can show data every day.

But when I synced on Fitbit App. In the Health Metrics is showing "No Data" (but in the graph show data)

Please fix oxygen function. Purchased Sense for that info. Worked for one week (loved it) and now a month later still not working. Please fix!!!!

Unfortunately SpO2 only gives one reading per night at best.

In the end deleting the SpO2 tracker app gives an extra 2 days battery.

Buying a separate Bluetooth $20 Oximeter which will log SpO2, HRV and HR anytime is perhaps a better option.

This is a great idea. Bought a pulse oximeter myself and not have to rely on the Sense's readings, although I've been getting the SPO2 readings every morning. Having your own oximeter frees you from relying on nightly readings from Sense in case data is missing.

Unfortunate that some users are having Health Metrics data issues, it's a great function of the app, just needs improvements in execution.

What is the status on this bug?  I got the issue last night.  Spo2 displayed on the watch, but not in Health Metrics.

I don't see any activity on this thread.  Certainly Is the Fitbit SW team still working on this issue, or did they just give up?

Hmmm?  This morning, both yesterday's and today's spo2 have shown up in Health Metrics.

So, was this bug ever truly resolved?

For me, I noticed that SpO2 was the last to show up in Health Metrics. It took the 5th night to show and now it hasn't missed a night since.

@Peak_PJ  - are you by any chance in Australia/NZ/Japan type time-zones? I and others in those zones have noticed this type of lag.

According to LizzieFitbit, they were "working on it" in August. So perhaps you have to choose whether you think between:

1/ Hardware isnt up to any fix

2/ Software team are incredibly incompetent

3/ Fitbit just say "working on it" to everything but nothing is actually happening. (my bet).
