Fitbit Update 10/29/2015: As this issue has now been resolved, I am closing the thread from further discussion.

Thank you to everyone who reported this issue and for your patience while we worked to get it resolved. Happy to know that your food logs are back to normal! Robot Very Happy

Fitbit Update 10/25/2015

Syncing food from MFP to Fitbit is now back to normal. Thank you again for everybody's patience while this problem was being worked out.

Fitbit Update 10/22/2015: MyFitnessPal is aware and has added this to their known issues page. Fitbit and MyFitnessPal are closely working together to get this issue resolved ASAP.

In the meantime, a workaround to try is to manually delete the duplicate entries from your Fitbit Food Log. In order to delete duplicate entries, do the following:

  1. Go to your Fitbit Food Log.
  2. Hover over the duplicate food item, an "X" should appear on the left-hand side.
  3. Click the "X" to delete the entry (illustrated below).

Another option is to unlink your MyFitnessPal account from your Fitbit account and checking your calories on MFP until the multiplying issue is fully resolved!

Thank you for your continued patience as we work alongside MFP to get this issue resolved!

Fitbit Update 10/21/2015: Some users have reported that their MyFitnessPal food log entries are being multiplied on their Fitbit Food Log.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but Fitbit and MyFitnessPal are both aware of the issue. We are currently working on resolving this issue with MFP's help. MyFitnessPal has also posted an update here as well. I will share updates here with everyone when I find out more! Thank you for your patience! Robot Very Happy

Hi @ScarletHare,

I've moved your post from the iOS forum to this thread where users are experiencing something similar. I'd recommend checking out this thread's lead-in post if you haven't already for more information.

Also, welcome to the Fitbit Community!

I have the same issue since yesterday, it's duplicating my meals from fitness pal to Fitbit multiple times . Anyone find a fix?

Thank you for that tip.  I edited both breakfast (which triple entried) and dinner (double).  I just loaded the most recent update this morning, so evidently that's where it's coming from.

I am glad to hear that others are having trouble with MFP food diary syncing correctly with Fitbit. All of my food logs are showing up multiple times on my Fitbit dashboard. Very frustrating.

Very frustrating !! ive had my fit bit charge for 2 weeks and everything was going well until 3 days ago when the calorie count on fit bit was doubling up and my graphs look like i eat too much!!

I hope they fix it soon because its hard enough trying to eat right and record in my fitness pal and exercise i dont want to have to spend time deleting food on fit bit.

Glad I'm not alone, I knew I hadn't eaten over 4000cal yesterday!

For the last 2 days my breakfast calories are off by 4000 calories. Did not have any trouble before that. This started when they updated. Hope they fix it.

Mine started the same thing just yesterday. Every time I log food via MyFitnessPal, Fitbit logs multiple meals..yesterday I had to delete about 7 extra lunches! I saw the same problem posted about a year ago but couldn't find out how they fixed it. Is someone working on this???

It's adding new foods with total calorie for that meal, but is no longer removing old total. So if you log 100 calories, then log another 100, it shows new total of 200, but don't remove old 100 so it shows 300 total. Log another 100 and now total is 600, (100+200+300) because the old data not removed

Press and hold old smaller amounts on Fitbit app to delete them. Only keep largest total in each meal

I know how to delete the extra foods, but I shouldn't have to do that--and don't want to!--never had to until yesterday, and I've been using this for over a year. It is a glitch and I'm hoping the Fitbit folks can help me fix it quickly!

I use the myfitnesspal.com app to track food and it's connected to my fitbit charge hr. When i view my progress at fitbit.com, it seems to be double counting my food entries. If I've entered two eggs, it shows that I had two eggs twice for breakfast.

I'd appreciate any help.
