4/7 Update: This should now be resolved, and Facebook integration should now be working normally. If you are still having trouble, please consult this help article for tips on connecting with your Facebook friends. Thanks everyone for your patience while we worked to correct this issue!
4/6 Update: We have a fix in place which will resolve this issue, and it is being prepared to roll out into production. I'll post again once that happens, but it shouldn't be long!
We are aware of an issue preventing Fitbit users from linking with their Facebook accounts, and producing the following error. This may also prevent users from searching for friends via Facebook if their accounts are already linked.
Our team is currently investigating this issue, and we're working to return this functionality to normal behavior. If you see this error, please note that there is nothing wrong with your tracker itself. We'll post another update here as soon as we have news regarding a resolution.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience!

No, there is not a solution yet. If you have noted that there are many posts, you will have seen that this issue is affecting all Fitbits over all platforms. The engineers are aware and are working on a fix.
Edited to add: I have moved your post to the main thread discussing this issue to keep all the conversation together and so you can get updates when it is fixed.

Same here. Can't even add my friends through e-mail either. FitBit wants us to be loners.

Did you ever get a satisfactory answer? I have spent hours trying to get my "friend" to appear in my system as well as mine to appear in hers.

@Rumpilskilston , if you are trying to get your friend to connect via Facebook, stop trying. You are wasting your time. This is a bug, as I said, affecting all Fitbits and all platforms. The engineers are aware and are working on a fix. I know it doesn't count as a happy reply, but I hope it counts as a satisfactory one. Don't shoot the messenger!

I just got my Charge HR and when I try to add friends by going on Facebook, it says that it is unable to create the account(?), on my dashboard I'm unable to link them as well. I've logged out of the app and dashboards and tried again and I've attempted to remove access and reapply it but I still have no luck.
Please help. My boyfriend got a Blaze today and is having the same issue woth Facebook connectivity.

I'm reading other posts about problems connecting the Fitbit to Facebook. I don't even have it as an option to use (or revoke) on the desktop application.
When I try to find FB friends on the main dashboard, I get this message: Unable to link your Facebook and Fitbit accounts together. Please try again later.
When I try to link from my iPhone app to FB, I get this message: Unable to create FB account.

When my app on my android updated, I lost the ability to see and/or add facebood friends. In the process of looking over things in the settings (trying to figure out why it wasn't working) over the next several days, I accidentialy revoked the acces for facebook from my fitbit. Now it will not allow me to connect my facebook back to my fitbit account. I just want the 2 to be linked agin and for them to communicate. Help please. Thanks so much!
