I've been notified that there are reports of Zip battery draining quickly on iOS version 2.41.1 and our team is currently investigating. If you are experiencing this, we recommend disabling all-day-sync for now. I'll update this post once I hear more. Thanks as always for your patience and understanding.

Indeed. If there is a product out there like a Zip, that would actually work with a decent battery life, please post.

Hey there! As mentioned, this is a known issue and it has taken the team longer to identify the root cause of why some users are experiencing rapid battery drain with while syncing the Zip to an iOS device.
We will continue to investigate, but I don't currently have a timeline for fix. Along with turning off all day sync, we do suggest syncing to a computer or Android device if possible. Thanks for your reports and patience.

I typically sync only 1-2 times each day. Usually at night. My battery is dead again. This one lasted a week. It is bizarre that I had a battery last about 3 months with this type of syncing and now I have used 2 batteries in two weeks. These are new, name-brand, "expensive" batteries. I bought a 6-pack of them and I suspect that when they are done, I will stop using the Zip.

They didn’t offer me a discount on a new one, they sent me a new one as I told them that my original Zip was only a couple of months old and I no longer wanted a FITBIT..
So, this is the last chance for Fitbit.
I got it over a month ago and the battery is still full.

I'm just ignoring the multiple battery-level notifications I'm getting each day. When the battery actually dies, I'll replace it. Love the Zip, love the app on my iPhone. As long as they keep talking to each other, I'm happy.

Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing your experiences with your Zip. Good to hear that some of you sorted out and you are keeping up the supper stepping.
For those who are still experiencing an issue, please make sure that you have your All Day Sync feature off. And verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here. Also, keep in mind that you can always use a compatible computer or Android device to sync.
Catch you later!

I have done all of this and still get (apparently false) medium-to-low battery readings on both occasional iPhone manual and Windows 10 syncs. Despite the readings, my previous battery lasted about 4 months and the current one -- well, who knows! It could be dead tomorrow or not.
Also, manually syncing with the iPhone sometimes the app opens blank and then closes without anything being displayed; sometimes it opens and syncs fine.
Meanwhile, Fitbit continues to advertise (falsely) re compatibility with iPhone and re battery life.

So...again...this is BS since syncing is kind of the point. I can’t sync to my iPhone at all. I just sync to my computer, manually. And yes, now my battery is good...but That is not the Point...the Zip should be able to sync to an iPhone without all of the... “oh but you have to do this or you have to do that” or don't promote it as being able to sync...just my humble opinion

Don't offer excuses, because it undermines the User's experience and just leads to the eventual loss of your revenue and your job. Fix it or I'm trashing it, resetting it isn't the answer. I spend more time & money taking the battery out & replacing it than it's worth. Why not take the option out of your App?
