I agree. It would be nice to go back to the old version as the new update caused the problem. It is frustrating having inaccurate data for the last week.

This has never been an issue over the 3 different Fitbit devices I’ve had.

"No timeline on a fix"...well...I've been a FitBit guy for several years...but I've also been an Apple guy for longer. Until now...I never felt the need for the Apple Watch, as my Ionic "had" always done what I needed it to. Unless this gets resolved soon, I'll be owning a new watch before the week is out. Bummer...I've always enjoyed the simplicity of the FB platform and app.

LizzyFitbit,

How high on the priority list is getting a fix for this issue?  Seems rather straightforward to roll back to a  version (OR give us the option of selecting an earlier version) that works!  What is the development team's comment about rolling back?

This issue has persisted for over a week now. None of my logged running or activities are working and I feel like I can’t actually trust any of the data that is working. Chat support was no help and it seems like this issue affects hundreds of users. How is there no update yet?

I did a quick run after work using only my FitBit Ionic watch, and it recorded everything properly and then synced it with the FitBit app on my iPhone.

Here’s my recent walk. Clearly it’s not 11:07pm (I’m in MA).
This is my 3rd issue — no response from **ahem**bit yet, oh I meant Fitbit

This is really frustrating. I used this as a way to monitor my progress in training for my first run ever. The run is this Saturday and my Fitbit isn’t tracking anything...if it’s not fixed soon, I will unfortunately have to look into purchasing another smart watch. I’ve been eyeing the Apple Watch for a while now, this may just be a sign to make the switch

Ha ha, I just looked at my stats, apparently I was asleep while I was out with my walking club this morning! Not impressed with the lack of response from FitBit either.

Same problem. I can log my exercise on My Fitness Tracker and they sync but it really isn’t the same data. And my sleep timing is also off. Hate to give up on Fitbit but my family is all in the IT business. Not having a fix doesn’t make sense.

Any idea how to set for Fitbit mobile track to track on distance instead calories?

I have the same problem. Starting this week, my Versa doesn’t automatically record workout. If I enter them manually it just says that I doesn’t have enough data. I can see the data in my heart rate area but my workout can’t use it. Why is this happening?

I can see the data in my heart rate area but my workout can’t use it. Why is this happening? Why does every update of this app have to remove a valuable feature? This is supposed to be a FITNESS TRACKER! My versa is barely even a watch now.

Starting your exercise from the watch as opposed to the app on your phone does appear to solve the problem. However if done this way it doesn’t use GPS and therefore only tracks steps and not actual distance. This is how I am tracking exercise at the moment until Fitbit solve the issue.

I believe the logging exercise via manual entry / GPS on the app and the sleep start time are 2 separate problems. I have solved the sleep time issue by uninstalling the app and re installing and ensuring that my selected time zones are the same on both the PC dashboard (web) and my phone.

FYI if you check the dashboard from web browser does it show the correct sleep start time?  When I checked my it was correct on the dashboard and incorrect within the app hence my decision to re install. As mentioned it solved the problem for sleep and showed the real time or all past sleeps.

Same here! I live in Perth and we don’t even have daylight savings here. No idea how to fix this issue as this thread clearly hasn’t been resolved.
