Lizzie. I have the latest update but still have this issue. (BTW, I’m am SO over all the Fitbit issues! This company is incompetent.)
Phone is iPhone Xs
software: 13.3.1
Edited to add today’s failed reading. And BTW, we still can’t get the HR graph while using GPS. That issue was reported in July 2019. Any news on that major failure?

I’m a little late to this thread, but am getting very frustrated by the problem. What’s the latest update? Is this going to be resolved?

After reinstalling the app my sleep times were correct for a couple of days. And then they were off again. So I have logged out and in several times this week!

Glad to have found this topic. I sent a message to support this morning about the problem but got a completely useless reply back, referring me to help articles about using GPS and restarting my device (even though I clearly showed in my question that neither of that is actually the problem).
Some feedback for FitBit support: please be up to date on what issues are going on, so you don't have to frustrate your long-time users with basic "are you sure it's turned on"-level answers.
I was this close to buying a Versa 2 but now strongly reconsidering.

I totally agree! When there is a known problem, don't insult your users.
This will be my last FitBit product due to their inability to 'fix' this issue in a timely manner. Not acceptable in today's world of technology.

My sleep start time gets messed up every time I manually enter exercise and then sync; this happens despite reinstalling the app completely 3 times and following all the instructions fitbit has sent, so manually entering exercise is what is linked to the sleep errors for sure.

I am also having the issue of logging exercise and having the sections report “not enough data available.” As others have said, my Fitbit did track heart rate and steps during the time of the exercise so it should have the data, it just isn’t internally transferring. I know I’m not the only one with this problem.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app today, restarted my Charge 2 multiple times and I still have this problem as well. It's been going on for over a week!

Is it normal for a serious technology glitch such as this to last this long? I'm wondering why the status updates have all of a sudden stopped. Knowing how companies work, my feeling is that Fitbit discovered some improper use of customer data and is now trying to cover up. The dept legal advised them to go silent, which explains the lack of communication.

I am searching the web and running sites for alternatives to my Charge 3 HR. Unless Fitbit comes up with a reasonable response and soon, my Fitbit days will be over. I feel badly because I have been a user for a very long time. But the handling of this issue has been unacceptable.

I recently switched to a new phone. I use the the Fitbit app to track my walks. One I am finished and hit finish it tells me their is not enough information. So it says I took 0 steps and burned no calories even though I walked 5.49 miles. Does anyone know why???

It’s disappointing that there has been pretty much silence on this issue. Consequently, for the last 48 hrs I’ve been looking at alternatives - Garmin look to have some excellent options, and their reviews are very good. I wouldn’t have looked elsewhere if there seemed to be any movement on this issue. I’d been contemplating a change but needed a push because I’d felt loyal to Fitbit., unfortunately this is it.
Bye bye Fitbit.

Has this been fixed yet? Still experiencing this issue today. Nothing has been able to correct it. Going on over a week now!
