How can I confirm that the data is still on my account before I uninstall the app? When I go to delete the app, I get this note saying that deleting the app delete the data too.  I don’t want to lose all my data since 2016.

I removed the app completely on iOS.

Then reinstalled it and logged in again

Just checked the Steps record and the data goes back to 2018

Active Zone minutes just goes back to 2021 (I think this is when I got my most recent device)

All I can tell you is, I had the same worry that uninstalling the app would
make me lose data. I can assure you that I did not lose any data whatsoever.

I’m having the same problem. The app is barely functional for the things I track with no historical date. Considering a Garmin because it’s been like this for weeks.

You’re probably better off going that route as Google is discontinuing
Fitbit, and no longer even allows people to call in for assistance. Having
said that, however, you can call customer service, but once you select
other as the type of device you have, you’re in a music on hold loop that
never ends:
no one picks up.
