Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the App store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/22
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

I loved the old dashboard. The new one is really not what I expected. I wish there was a way to revert back.
The imaging on the old old version was so much easier to quickly see what I wanted to see.
This version needs to go!

I updated the new update to the Fitbit app. I do not like the new look at all. It’s contrived and looks like everything else. It is unfortunate that the update is considered to be an upgrade. Yuck!

You can vote for, but not comment on, the feature suggestion to be able to choose a dashboard.
If you’ve commented on here and would like the option to choose please vote

I absolutely do not like the new dashboard on my iPhone. ☹️ I got a pop up to change it (without trying it first) and that i couldn't undo it.
the challenges need to be on a separate window from the dashboard. And for some reason the "sneak peek" doesn't work any more. 🤷🏻:female_sign:

I’m sure you’ll delete this. You don’t have the balls to leave it on so the people can actually see real opinions.

amount of data being utilized, the length of time required for update now
is primitive. I now have to wait for information to update that I don't
even want and I can not see the information I do want. This 'new'
information is so useless and pointless it is unbelievable. To waste time
and data calculating a valueless statistic e.g. sleep fair, when awake for
an hour, out of a total 4 or 5 hours 'sleep' etc is unbelievable. Simple
clear quickly loaded information in a font large enough to see quickly is
clearly what people want. This is obviously a con job to try and force
people to pay more $ for a premium service yet you are demonstrating
complete lack of respect to every single customer. All devices were
purchased with promise of app to utilise information so it is now
fraudulent advertising to continue to ignore 100's of customers perhaps
1000's in all the replies I have only noticed a couple of positive
responses and one of these is disgustingly abusive to me and to other
posters. Now wondering if they are the employee who implemented the
update. Otherwise, why such venom? why such resistance to listening to
customers?

Can’t stand the new dashboard. It looks disorganized, it’s not as clean and neat, if you join multiple hustles they are all over the place clogging up the main page. They remain after they’re finished so it looks messy. I wish I could have the old version back.

I DON’T LIKE IT!!! I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and just don’t like the new dashboard. Especially heart rate is harder to read during a workout. Please change back.

Going back through the detritus that are the sleep, exercise and steps reading of the "new" Fitbit app for the last month, I notice a really interesting new inaccuracy that certainly proves the our problems with the new app.
It's crediting me with FLOORS rather steps when I go down (or maybe up) the TWO steps from my laundry room to the driveway. Once day I left that way twice and got 4 FLOORS! I carefully reviewed my appointments and work for those days and definitely had nowhere that I encountered more than the two steps down/up (from my laundry room).
I'm still baffled how/why the "monitors" can praise the new new app without ever offering any hope or help for the craziness that has been dumped on it's customers. In all my years I've never seen such denial.

Hi everyone! It's nice to see you all around. Thank you for sharing your feedback and your comments regarding the new Dashboard on the Fitbit app. We really appreciate your opinion. For those that are interested that the old design should be available again, please have a look at the link, that our friend @Sharonalondon shared with us.
@Sharonalondon , thanks for the link to the Feature Request. It will be very helpful to other users.
@Merveilleuses , @zephyrwala ,
Thank you for your sharing that you liked the app and as you mentioned, it might take some time to get used and like the new Dashboard. Please keep posting.
@Cybersyb @Melstarz @ReactiveD @Lshifflet , @StarrC @ufounddave @JoeRoos @Rjlewan44 @hildreth80 , if you only see some stats but not everything please do as follows:
- On the upper side of the dashboard, on the right side of Today you'll see Edit. Please tap on it and verify that your stats have the check on them .
- Here you can move the main stats to the positions you better like.
- On the upper right corner you'll see the button to save your changes. Don't forget to tap it.
- Then go to Discover >Health & Fitness Stats.
- Here you can choose what other stats should be displayed on the dashboard (sleep, water consumption, etc.).
- Mark the ones you'll like to see.
In case you don't see any of your marked choices on the dashboard , please force quit the app and restart it.
@SunsetRunner , @KathyNC thanks for letting us know that after restarting the app everything is working fine.
@KammyB , thanks for your information. Please do these steps to setup your tracker again.
- Restart the tracker .
- Please on the phone, go to Settings> Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the tracker. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone)
- Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (switch off and on again).
- When the phone is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again, but DO NOT attempt to connect to the tracker from here.
- Go on the app. From here, try setting up the tracker as a new device.
@RunningAmy , thanks for letting us know about the message you receive. It is a reminder to ware your device while you sleep, so that it can track your sleep patterns. This is because there is an option to start your sleeping time with the Fitbit app, with different results.
@caskiwi, @Rosiedoodle thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Regarding your posts, and the situation with your Fitbit devices, I would recommend you to post this on the corresponding boards, so it gets the attention needed.
@Arcticsnow17 could you please Tag the person you meant on your post "First I’m not stupid and who do you think you are to say that about other people?!? Don’t be a troll. If you cannot be nice don’t post!". As it could be taken by some users as rude, without knowing who are you talking to. I agree with you, the community is a place to search and provide help within members and should be a great place to share situations, experiences, and comments. Everything on a respectful manner.
@CParks818 , our team informed me that not everyone has gotten the new version of the dashboard. We are still working with the roll out. Don't worry. You;ll receive it very soon.
@Sucre-Daddy, could you elaborate on your post? Where are you not able to see your hear rate data during training? On the Fitbit app or the Charge 3. In case if it's on your app, please verify if the Live Data option is turned on.
Please go to the Online Dashboard. Go to Settings>Charge 3 and verify that the Live Data button is turned on. Save and sync your tracker. Also verify that on your phone the Don't disturbed and battery saving mode are off. The Fitbit App should be running on the background.
Please keep me posted.
