Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the App store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/22
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

I got this idea from another Fitbit user .
I did a review on the Fitbit app as it seems they are being very non-responsive to everyone in this community. I have only read one review were they are enjoying the new version, everybody else is having issues.
Maybe they will pay attention if we are all putting our comments in the review section of the App Store.

I would like the option of going back to the previous app dashboard display. I used to be able to see sleep details on the app dashboard at a glance (a primary reason I bought this thing), now I have to step through two screens to get that info (essentially, the dashboard sleep info is useless to me now because it lacks any detail). The new font and graphics are harder to read, and the previous tiled dashboard let me see more at a glance and had an elegant simplicity and friendly colors. If this new version is something other users want, at least give the option of the previous style for those who don’t want this

Well i have to make the decision today to return my Inspire to Target or keep it. It's a hard decision, the new app is not helping me make it and their lack of listening I guess. I have opened two account and one is running the new ap the other is still on the old ap, it's pretty, more informative for sure. The Inspire was released with so many bugs but over all after testing for several days it is kind of accurate. It auto tracks poorly, records exercises as the wrong exercises full time, but when i look at the HR info and the calories the base info is very close to the Alta, the sleep is very similar charts but no where close to exactly the same but same hours and close in minutes of deep/light and rem sleep all falling into the same sections of the evening but not the same. The Alta still seems to be about flawless on auto tracking exactly what i have done. Inspire over records steps but the Alta tends to under report and do believe that having steps when i didn't walk is okay if i was active, i have always considered them equivalent steps, like a person in wheel chair, or i was doing steps in place marching etc and since it uses HR to determine calories i'm okay with that. So i was looking over other boards to figure out which to buy instead, and now I'm just going to have to sit on the old one and figure out if they get their act together. I have loved my fitbit for 2 years and the customer response, but something has changed this year. They don't seem to be addressing the issues with the Inspire and honestly it's big enough I think a recall will be required to fix it properly and to have that big issue and decide it's a good time to roll out a new app .... Just doesn't make sense.

I never got an invite to this new dashboard and it’s broken. I can never start new challenges. There’s a greyed out Active challenge limit reached button no matter how many challenges below 10 I’m in but I can join them from the Today display!!! And Sneak Peek doesn’t work. It just closes the challenge. Get me off this defective dashboard until you get these obvious major bugs fixed.

I couldn't find a way to leave a review on the web link or via iTunes, so I took the time to type it in the iPhone App Store app on my phone. If enough of us review it to move the ratings down, maybe they'll be forced to improve this turkey OR, better yet, give us the original back. This is a classic case of "If it ain't broke don't fix it".

I was able to revert back to the original app for less than a day before the new one reappeared too. As far as being notified when someone replies to your post-string, UNCHECK the box slightly above and to the right of the text entry area that says "Email me when someone replies".

You have 9 pages of unhappy and engaged community members and customers here, without response from Fitbit. I’ve messaged you both personally, without reply.
What does it take to get Fitbit engaged here in a meaningful conversation?
The new UI/UX is obviously problematic, and your website outright lies about Fitbit’s ability to revert the dashboard to the old one.
Will you please engage here? This “forum” isn’t supposed to be like shouting into a black hole.

Unfortunately, I believe this will be like the launch of the “New COKE” several years ago. Coca Cola wanted to get people jazzed about their brand again and nobody except the Coke management wanted it. I, like many others like the previous layout and functionality. I am sure some very hard working software engineers put in long hours to develop this program. However it is a program people (at least your responders) obviously do not want.
The second item is “testing” on unknown participants. For two days I have thought my system has been broken! Not a good Beta year protocol.
Final thought, how about letting users try the new one but go back to old style if they want. If that is not an option, after 7 years as a loyal FITBIT wearer I will begin considering other companies for my Fitness Tracker

We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. I understand many of you are not very fond to the new design of the App Dashboard, which is why I would like to suggest you to check @JoeKII's suggested idea to switch between Dashboards. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.

The link you provided was incorrect, here’s the right one.
I can’t believe this has been going on since April in the beta community and you guys haven’t listened to the feedback. I scrolled through the pages and it’s clear that you’ve had MONTHS of feedback to encourage you to make a better decision. Incredibly disappointing.
I would encourage community members to continue to give feedback in the App Store (1 star reviews) until there’s an actual dialogue here.
This forum and the feature suggestion forum is a walled garden that Fitbit controls entirely, and it’s clear that the community isn’t important enough inside the garden to be taken seriously at this time.

Allow Customers to choose between Dashboards
Then again we still have people upset with the last dashboard beat-up. And want the pre 2017 dashboard back.

As much as I dislike the current dashboard I would just be happy with bigger numbers! They are just too small for my poor vision.
