On my iPhone screen there is a number 96 on the Fitbit app and I can’t see why?

Hello @GailPowell1. Welcome to the community forums!
In order to further assist, could you please let me know if the 73 number is on the Fitbit symbol on the Fitbit App icon?
I look forward to your response.

Hello @Sparrowgirl76. Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for the information and for the troubleshooting steps you've followed. Is the 101 number on the Fitbit icon in the Fitbit App on your phone? Is this about notifications?
I look forward to your response.

Go to your old notifications that you most likely previously read. Delete them and get out of the App. Go back into the App and if old notifications are back delete them once more and get out of the App again. When you go back in the notifications should be permanently deleted. If not continue same steps until they have deleted. In my case 2nd time around took care of it

Gail, this is the fix. I posted it on the 20th:
Log out of the app, power the phone off and back on again. What did not work was deleting the app and reinstalling.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to clear the red “1” notification that’s on my phone app. I don’t see anything that needs clearing. Thanks

It shows that I have 1 notification on my app, I can't find any place where I have anything I can click or do to get rid of that 1 annoying red circle. I've checked every page and corner of the app and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I like being able to see texts and other notifications on my Charge 4, if I disable the notifications on my phone will I still get the vibrations and alerts on my fitbit when I'm getting calls and texts?

Once you verified you have no messages or notifications to clear out.... log out of the app on your iPhone, then power down the phone. Restart after 30 seconds and you should see the red number gone. Worked for me.

That doesn’t work for me. The app and my phone since 6/23 will not find my versa 2. I have most updated iOS and Fitbit app. Neither are new to me.
I have logged out, closed out, restarted.
I have deleted the app.
i have charged my phone and tried all of this from the charger.
I have turned Bluetooth on and off.
I have checked the notification settings.
what is the fix? I don’t want to do a hard reset on my watch and lose two nights’ and a day’s worth of data.
