I have had this problem on my iPad IOS 9.3.1, this morning when I opened the Fitbit app dashboard the device status (device connected, sync and battery indicator) was missing. This afternoon when I opened the app, the status line was back on the dashboard. Over the past few days when I open the app, the device status line would sometimes be there and sometimes not.

My Fitbit app is doing the same thing. I have a Fitbit Charge, I am currently on iOS 9.3.1 and I have removed the app and re-installed it and it will work sometimes when I sync, but not other times.

I noticed that my status bar reappears for one time / temporary if I log out of of app completely. Close it then re log in on opening. However if I do not fully log out of app when I close it, when I enter app again the Charge HR status is again lost, missing from the dashboard. Super Pain as it takes so much time to fully log in every time I want to update/sync during the day.

I had this problem with my iPhone 6 as well. I was reading through some of the other posts on this subject. On an iPhone, if you clear your homepage apps, the problem clears up and stays cleared! If you don't know how to do this -
1. Exit the fitbit app and press the home button twice
2. All of your recently used apps show on top of eachother
3. Go through each one and swipe upwards to remove it
4. You will get to the point where only your homepage on the phone shows
When you return to the fitbit app, the dashboard screen will show as expected. This clearing is a good idea to do periodically anyway on iPhones and iPads.

I have the Surge on an iPhone 6+ with iOS 9.3. After the recent update to the Fitbit App my Device tile dissapeared. Then it reappears later in the day and frequently dissapears again later on. This happens every day (today it was gone again this morning but when I just opened the app a few minutes ago it had reappeared). Logging out of the App has no effect on whether the tile is visible.
